## Hidden costs and limits

- Self-hosted: you pay for your own compute (AWS/GCP/Azure), a small VPS runs $5-20/month but scales with usage
- LLM API costs are separate, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc. charges are on top of Flowise pricing
- Cloud free tier limited to 5MB storage, practically unusable for production RAG with document uploads
- Pro plan: additional users beyond 5 cost $15/user/month
