About Claude Code
Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool. It reads a repo, edits files, runs commands, and works from the terminal, VS Code / Cursor, JetBrains, the Claude desktop app, claude.ai/code in the browser, Slack, and the Claude iOS / Android apps. Official docs (code.claude.com) say most surfaces need a Claude subscription or an Anthropic Console account. It is included on Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Console use bills API tokens at standard rates. Fast mode for advanced models is significantly faster and, in the research preview on Claude Code, is priced at a premium per million tokens. Paid Claude seats also include chat, Cowork, Design, and Science on the same usage pool.
