Is listing my software on Toolradar free?
Yes. Creating a listing and claiming it cost nothing. Toolradar also sells advertising and content services, separately and never as a condition of being listed. How we make money is explained at toolradar.com/how-we-make-money.
What happens after I submit, and how long does it take?
Every submission is checked automatically first: your website and an editorial review. A clean listing from a company that proved it owns the domain is published within minutes. A clear miss comes back with feedback you can act on. Everything else is read by a person within ten business days. Vendors who display a Toolradar badge on their site become verified vendors, and later updates to their listing are reviewed within 48 hours.
What do you check before approving a listing?
The submission must come from your company, with a working website and logo, a factual description (promotional language such as "best" or "revolutionary" is rejected) and pricing we can compare with your own pricing page.
Will a listing improve my Google or AI rankings?
There is no guarantee. A listing gives buyers and AI assistants a structured page to read, plus category, comparison and alternatives pages. Search engines and AI assistants decide what they show for each query.
Can I pay to rank higher or to change my position?
No. Positions in Toolradar Data are computed from first-party numbers, and advertising and placement fees are not inputs to any position. The method is published at toolradar.com/how-we-rate#toolradar-data.
My product is already listed. How do I take it over?
Claim it. Verify that you control a work email on the product's domain, then edit the profile, answer reviews, see your analytics and get embeddable badges from your dashboard.
