Best AI Procurement Tools in 2026

TL;DR

Short answer: Zip is the AI procurement pick for a team that wants agents on the request while the ERP stays put. Zip publishes no list price. Its June 2026 explainer puts five Superagents on the core products.

Precoro Automation, the assistant plan, starts at $999/month on annual billing. Fairmarkit is the sourcing agent when the suite stays. Ramp Plus is $15/user/mo when the buy sits on its card.

Buy the product whose agent sits on the request. A scanner that only reads a PDF still leaves the buy with your team.

Put the agent on the purchase request. A model that only reads a PDF after someone has already bought leaves the approval, the supplier, and the PO with your team. Zip is the default when that request is the leak and you will keep the ERP you already run.

Zip's June 4, 2026 explainer describes role-based Superagents and says they come with the core products. The site still publishes no dollar, so the first call has to come back with a written range before you can rank Zip against a printed floor.

Toolradar data: 418 of the 608 finance tools in this directory are paid-only (69%), while 31% still open on a free or freemium plan.

A printed annual floor, a card add-on, and a quote-only suite are different purchases. A buyer who lines them up on "has AI" will sit through a demo and then find the agent on a higher plan, an add-on, or a page with no number. These 10 are for the person who owns requests, sourcing events, or purchase orders and wants the model on that work.

A general purchasing shortlist, without this agent test, is the procurement software guide. Sourcing events on their own are the AI sourcing guide. Card programs that code a swipe sit in spend management platforms.

How we chose: these 10 were set against the 608 tools in finance. Every price below was read on the vendor's own site on September 24, 2026, and no company paid for a rank.

Zip

Top Pick
  • 4.7 on G2 (53 reviews)

Teams that want request agents without a suite replacement.

Zip screenshot
+The June 4, 2026 explainer names five Superagents (Intake, Procurement, Contract, Accounts Payable, and Config) and says they are included with core Zip products, so price that subscription before a separate agent package.
+Intake accepts a plain-language ask in chat, Slack, Teams, or Zip, can pre-clear a policy-compliant request, and coordinates task agents such as Data Validation and Preferred Vendor. Zip says this path is 3x faster, which is Zip's claim, not your cycle time.
+The Procurement Superagent drafts tail-spend outreach from your playbook and sends it only after approval, and it calls the Price Negotiation Agent plus Vendr-powered pricing intelligence. The send still waits on a person.
−Zip publishes no list price, and AI Spend Automation (credits plus forward-deployed engineers) is a separate package from the core Superagents, so the explainer is not the invoice.
−The June 12, 2026 summit recap said Superagents and MCP would arrive later that summer. Confirm the agents are on your tenant before you sign for them.
Fair value

It's best for organizations that are prepared for a potentially complex sales cycle and custom pricing negotiations.

Watch out

Minimum spend or seat requirements

2
Fairmarkit logo

Fairmarkit

  • 4.6 on G2 (17 reviews)

Teams that will keep Coupa, Ariba, or Zip and add bids.

Fairmarkit screenshot
+The integrations page lists Coupa, SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, ServiceNow, Zip, and Workday Financials, and it says Fairmarkit writes the awarded supplier back while the ERP stays the system of record. Use it when you will not replace the suite.
+Amazon Business quotes can be pulled from a network Fairmarkit counts at 500,000 suppliers, on top of your own supplier list. That helps tail spend, and it does little if every vendor is already under contract.
+Fairmarkit says most customers go live in about 40 days, cites SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and puts a 90%+ spend-under-management figure and a 2x to 4x rise in events on the same page. Those figures are Fairmarkit's, not your baseline.
−Fairmarkit publishes no list price, so a quoted go-live still has no software dollar until the quote names event volume.
−It is a sourcing layer. Purchase-request approvals stay in the suite, which is the point of the connector and a miss if you wanted Zip or Coupa to own the whole request.
3
Precoro logo

Precoro

  • 4.8 on Capterra (255 reviews)
  • 4.7 on G2 (220 reviews)

Teams that need the assistant on a number they can budget.

+The Automation card lists the AI assistant, AI document scanning, intake, punchouts, RFPs, a supplier portal, API access, and SSO, on annual billing. Sign that card when the demo showed the model.
+Precoro says it accepts US dollars, British pounds, and euros, so a US buyer can ask for the dollar invoice rather than a converted quote.
+The billing help spells out the mechanic: 11 tiers, Tier 2 up to 30 users and Tier 6 up to 100, and on Power or Standard only Power users count while Standard users are unlimited. License the buyers, or the tier is the surprise.
−Core starts at $499/month on the same annual billing and does not list the assistant, so a demo of the model followed by a Core signature is the wrong product.
−NetSuite SuiteApp and Power BI are annual add-ons sold only on Automation, and the Intelligent AP Automation add-on is a one-time charge based on document count with no printed document price. Onboarding is typically 4 to 6 weeks, and cancellation needs 30 days' notice.
Good value

Precoro's pricing is on the higher side for small to medium businesses, with the 'Core' plan at $499/month offering essential procurement.

4
Coupa logo

Coupa

  • 4.5 on G2 (570 reviews)

Enterprises that will run agents inside Coupa itself.

+The May 12, 2026 release made Navi Agent Studio generally available, with a no-code builder, and named agents for sourcing event creation, bid comparison, sanctions risk, and scenario ranking. Coupa says the catalog is more than 20 agents, so this is a suite, not a bolt-on form.
+Coupa cites a community dataset it values at $10 trillion and a network of 10 million buyers and suppliers, which is the context those agents are supposed to use. That scale is Coupa's claim, not your savings.
+Compose is sold as outcome-based agentic service, with Catalyst forward-deployed engineers, so the AI project can be scoped as services rather than a mystery module. Compose still prints no amount.
−The buyer suite publishes no list price. Compose prints no amount, and the May note said third-party, MCP, and agent-to-agent connections were expected in September 2026, so confirm they are live before you sign.
−Coupa claims a 40% cut in setup time for those agents. That is Coupa's figure, and it still sits on a suite implementation, which is a different project from a Fairmarkit connector.
5
Omnea logo

Omnea

  • 4.7 on G2 (62 reviews)

Teams that want policy and supplier risk on the request.

Omnea screenshot
+Omnea's intake page says the agent accepts messages, forms, uploads, and URLs, recommends preferred suppliers and duplicate tools, and stops a non-compliant request before it reaches approval. That suits a team whose risk problem is the request.
+A PDF uploaded at intake is auto-filled, and divergence from policy is flagged. Conversational intake is listed for Teams, Slack, and MCP, so people can start in chat, and the request still has to land in Omnea.
+Omnea publishes a staffing-customer story with a 4-day average cycle time and an 80% faster cycle, and a TeamViewer story that attributes a 4 percentage point EBIT rise to the intake change. Those stories are not a rate card.
−Omnea publishes no list price and no free plan, so those customer stories cannot be ranked against a printed floor until a quote names company size and modules.
−The product pages center on intake, routing, and suppliers. A team that also needs the agent to pay the invoice is shopping a second system.
6
Ramp logo

Ramp

  • 4.8 on G2 (2,506 reviews)
  • 4.9 on Capterra (221 reviews)

Companies that will put the buy on a Ramp card.

+Annual billing takes 20% off the Plus seat, and the procurement add-on on Plus or Enterprise lists AI vendor compliance reviews, purchase orders, and three-way match against Ramp receipts. The discount is on the seat, and the add-on has no printed dollar.
+Free is $0/user/mo and already includes contract extraction and price intelligence, plus QuickBooks Online and Xero, which is enough when you do not need the procurement module.
+There is a 30-day Plus trial, and local-currency card issuing in 30+ countries is on Enterprise, so a global card rollout is a higher tier than the procurement add-on.
−The procurement module has no printed dollar, and Plus adds a team-size fee the pricing page does not print, so the seat is not the bill.
−The card needs credit approval. A decline leaves the workflow without an issuer, and NetSuite or Sage Intacct starts on Plus rather than on the free plan.
Great value

Ramp's pricing is highly generous, especially with its robust Free tier that offers features often found in paid plans from competitors.

Watch out

No explicit mention of minimum user count for Plus

7
SAP Ariba logo

SAP Ariba

  • 4.1 on G2 (743 reviews)

SAP shops that already pay for Spend Management.

+SAP's procurement pricing page says Joule Base is included at no additional cost on Spend Management Base or Premium, with no usage cap on that base layer. That helps only a team that already pays for one of those plans.
+The AI procurement page names a Sourcing Event Agent that drafts RFPs from past events, shortlists suppliers, and suggests questions, plus Ariba Intake Management for routing a request across systems.
+Joule Premium adds agent actions and is billed monthly in AI units. That split lets a team already on SAP try Base before buying unit consumption.
−SAP publishes no USD price for the Ariba suite, and the AI-unit page does not print a USD price per unit, so Base being included does not tell you what the subscription costs.
−Joule augments Ariba workflows. It does not replace them, and a company that is not already on SAP Spend Management is buying a suite, not a chatbot.

Watch out

Minimum contract value requirements

8
Ivalua logo

Ivalua

  • 4.4 on G2 (99 reviews)

Enterprises that want one agent across source-to-pay.

Ivalua screenshot
+IVA is described as one source-to-pay agent that can set up a sourcing event, redline from legal-approved language, and check an invoice against contract terms beyond the line price. That is a full suite, not a bid tool.
+IVA Studio is the control: the agent inherits the user's permissions, cannot exceed them, and every action has an audit trail and a named person accountable.
+Ivalua says IVA ships with models from OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Anthropic, Meta, and xAI, that you can bring your own, and that customer data is not used to train those models. MCP is bidirectional. Name the model in the order.
−Ivalua publishes no list price. A Forrester study on Ivalua's own site is a composite scenario, not a rate card, so it cannot stand in for a quote.
−One agent across the whole suite is a platform replacement. A team that only needs tail-spend bids will wait through that project for work Fairmarkit sells as a connector.
9
GEP SMART logo

GEP SMART

  • 4.3 on G2 (27 reviews)
  • 4.6 on Capterra (7 reviews)

Suite buyers who can stay on SMART while agents arrive.

+GEP's client update says SMART stays fully supported, with no forced migration, and that selected Quantum Intelligence capabilities, including agentic workflows, can be switched on beside it. That suits a customer who will not move logins.
+The direct-procurement page names a Strategic RFP Creator, a Quote Extraction Agent, a Reconciliation Agent, and a Cost Driver Agent that execute steps rather than only suggesting them.
+Supplier management names a Data Harmonization and Validation Agent for duplicate supplier records, which matters when the same vendor sits in three ERPs.
−GEP publishes no list price for SMART or for Quantum Intelligence, so switching agents on still needs a price from your account team.
−The architectural pitch is that Quantum runs the process and SMART manages it. Confirm which screens users will open before you treat that as a single login.
10
Procurify logo

Procurify

  • 4.6 on G2 (398 reviews)
  • 4.6 on Capterra (204 reviews)
  • 4.0 on TrustRadius (3 reviews)

Mid-market teams that will buy Guided Intake as an add-on.

Procurify screenshot
+Guided Intake, launched July 20, 2026, turns a plain-language ask into a prefilled request using your catalog, order history, and approval patterns, and it asks up to three follow-up questions. A quote that omits it leaves the demo off the contract.
+Quote Extraction, documented July 24, 2026, reads a PDF, JPEG, or PNG vendor quote into a draft request and keeps the file attached. Nothing is auto-approved, so a bad read still waits on a person.
+Basic users who request or receive are unlimited on most plans, and the quote is driven by Pro users, products, and integrations. US ACH is $0.50, a US check is $2.00, and card FX is 2.5%. Budget those payment fees apart from the software.
−The software subscription has no printed price, and Guided Intake is an add-on, so a purchasing quote can omit the agent you saw in the demo.
−A US domestic wire and a USD SWIFT wire are each $15.00 on the January 15, 2026 fee table. Those charges sit outside the software quote and apply only to US customers.

Watch out

Potential for high minimum seat counts.

What an AI procurement tool actually does

An AI procurement tool drafts, routes, or sources a purchase from a request, using a model that can see your suppliers, budgets, and policies. A form that only stores the ask still leaves the supplier choice and the PO with a person.

Intake agents suit a company whose uncontrolled spend starts as a Slack message or a blank form. Zip and Omnea both take a plain-language ask and turn it into a routed request.

Zip's explainer names a Procurement Superagent that drafts tail-spend outreach and waits for approval before it sends, so the model does not email a supplier on its own. Omnea's intake page adds a supplier recommendation and a policy stop before the approval queue. Skip both if the request is already governed and the gap is the bid.

A sourcing agent beside the suite suits a team that already runs Coupa, SAP Ariba, or Zip and still awards too little spend through a bid. Fairmarkit says it intercepts the purchase request, runs the event, and writes the awarded supplier back.

The ERP stays the system of record, so you are not funding a second suite. Skip it if nobody yet owns the request.

A printed procure-to-pay plan suits a team that wants the assistant on a number it can put in this quarter's budget. Precoro lists the AI assistant and document scanning on Automation, so price that card when the demo showed the model.

Procurify launched Guided Intake on July 20, 2026, and sells it as an add-on on a quote, which means the subscription can arrive without the agent.

A card add-on suits a company that will move the buy onto Ramp. The procurement module, including AI vendor compliance reviews and three-way match against Ramp purchase orders, is an add-on on Plus or Enterprise. The free plan does not include that module, so staying there means you still type the request. Skip Ramp if the card will not clear credit approval.

A full source-to-pay agent suits an enterprise that will replace the suite, not bolt a form in front of it. Coupa's May 12, 2026 release put Navi Agent Studio into general availability. Ivalua describes IVA as one agent across sourcing, contracts, buying, and invoices, so tail-spend bids alone do not justify that project.

GEP SMART customers can stay on SMART while selected Quantum Intelligence agents are switched on, which fits a buyer who will not migrate logins. SAP includes Joule Base at no extra charge on qualifying Spend Management plans, and it publishes no USD price for the suite itself. If you do not already pay SAP, Joule is a suite purchase.

Why the demo's agent is often a higher plan

The page that sells the agent often parks it on a higher plan, an add-on, or a quote. A team that signs the entry product can leave with purchase orders and still type every request by hand. That gap is a clerk's week, every month, for the work the demo was supposed to take.

Precoro's Core card starts at $499/month, billed annually, and it lists requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and 2-way and 3-way match. It does not list the AI assistant or document scanning, so a Core signature after an assistant demo keeps that work.

Those two sit on Automation. Budget the higher card when the demo showed the assistant, because Core leaves the request with your clerks.

The billing help then says the tier, not the plan name, sets the license cap: 11 tiers, with Tier 2 up to 30 users and Tier 6 up to 100. On a Power or Standard tariff only Power users count, and Standard users are unlimited, so a Standard requester does not consume a paid seat.

On Basic, every user counts, and a wide login list jumps tiers. The opening line is the floor, and the tier is the invoice.

Ramp's free plan includes contract extraction and price intelligence under vendor management, plus QuickBooks Online and Xero, which is enough if you will not run purchase orders inside Ramp. The procurement add-on, with custom intake, purchase orders, and AI vendor compliance reviews, is listed on Plus and Enterprise.

Plus is the seat in the table, and it adds a team-size fee the pricing page does not print, so a rollout can cost more than the published seat. A 30-day Plus trial does not reveal that fee or the add-on dollar, because both live on the order form, and a declined card leaves the workflow without an issuer.

Procurify's purchasing subscription has no printed software price, so the agent cannot go into this quarter's budget from the site alone. Guided Intake, which asks up to three questions and prefills a request from your catalog and order history, is an add-on that a purchasing quote can omit.

The handoff is the normal order form, and Procurify says nothing is auto-approved, so a wrong prefill still waits on a person. The fees page, revised January 15, 2026, prints US payment charges in USD and withholds the software price. Those charges are not the subscription.

Quote-only suites can still be the right buy. Zip, Fairmarkit, Coupa, Omnea, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, and GEP publish no buyer list price. You can rank one of them against Precoro's printed floor only after the paper names modules, users, and implementation.

Coupa's May release calls Compose outcome-based and prints no amount. SAP's procurement pricing page says Joule Base is included on Spend Management Base or Premium, and Joule Premium is billed monthly in AI units, with no USD unit price on that page. Included is not a number you can accrue.

Key Features to Look For

  • The agent on the plan you will sign (Essential)

Precoro lists the assistant on Automation. Ramp lists procurement AI on a Plus or Enterprise add-on. Procurify sells Guided Intake as an add-on. Sign the row the demo used, or your clerks still type the request.

  • A person on the send, when the control requires it (Essential)

Zip's Procurement Superagent drafts tail-spend outreach and sends it after approval. Procurify hands Guided Intake back to the standard form and does not auto-approve. Ivalua's IVA inherits the user's permissions and cannot exceed them, with every action audited in IVA Studio. Skip these if the model must email suppliers alone.

  • A sourcing path that can sit beside the suite (Essential)

Fairmarkit lists connectors for Coupa, SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Zip, and it says the ERP stays the system of record. That suits a team that will not rip out a suite to get more bids.

  • A floor that survives the user tier (Important)

Precoro's billing help says 11 tiers set both the price and the license cap, so the opening line can renew higher once Power users are counted. NetSuite SuiteApp and Power BI are annual add-ons sold only on Automation. The plan card is not the whole invoice.

  • A payment table next to a quoted subscription (Important)

Procurify prints ACH, check, and wire fees in USD and withholds the software price. A quote with no payment schedule understates what a US team pays suppliers after the request is approved.

  • An ERP line that names who stays the system of record (Important)

Fairmarkit writes the award back into the purchase request. Zip's explainer says repeatable steps, such as posting a PO, run through pre-built integrations. Ramp holds NetSuite and Sage Intacct for Plus, and Workday and Oracle Fusion for Enterprise. If the contract names no ledger, you are buying a second system of record.

  • A model choice you can name in the contract (Nice to have)

Ivalua says IVA ships with OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Anthropic, Meta, and xAI, and that you can bring another model. It also says customer data is not used to train those models. A suite that will not name the model is a later security review.

  • A way to start the request from the assistant employees already use (Nice to have)

Zip's explainer says Superagents can be reached from Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot through its MCP connection. Omnea lists conversational intake in Teams, Slack, and MCP. The governed request still has to land in the procurement system.

What to settle before the demo

  1. If the ERP must stay, start with Zip or Fairmarkit, because Coupa, Ivalua, and GEP are suite decisions and a connector is a smaller project.

  2. If you need a number this week, start with Precoro Automation and then ask which tier matches your Power-user count. The billing help turns that floor into the invoice.

  3. If employees already spend on Ramp, price Plus and the procurement add-on together, because the free plan does not include that module.

  4. If you are already on SAP Spend Management, confirm Joule Base is in the subscription you pay today before you add another intake tool.

  5. If the quote has no module list, leave Zip, Coupa, Omnea, Fairmarkit, Ivalua, and GEP off any dollar ranking until the paper arrives.

Evaluation Checklist

  • On Zip, ask which Superagents (Intake, Procurement, Contract, Accounts Payable, Config) are in the core subscription, and which work needs the AI Spend Automation package with forward-deployed engineers. A verbal answer cannot separate the explainer from the invoice.

  • On Precoro, submit one request on a Core quote and one on Automation, and keep the fields the assistant fills. Then ask for the tier that matches your Power-user count, because the floor is not the renewal.

  • On Fairmarkit, run one real tail-spend request through the connector you already own (Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, or Zip) and time it against the 40-day implementation figure on the integrations page.

  • On Ramp, confirm in writing that the procurement add-on dollar is separate from the Plus seat and from the unpublished team-size fee, and that a declined card does not leave you with a workflow and no issuer.

  • On Procurify, turn on Guided Intake in a sandbox, describe one real buy in plain language, and check that the prefilled vendor and account code match your catalog before you treat the add-on as included.

  • On Coupa, Ivalua, SAP Ariba, Omnea, and GEP, leave the first call with a written range for software and implementation, or skip the second call.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • ×

Signing Precoro Core after an assistant demo. The Core card lists match and approvals. The assistant and document scanning are on the Automation card, and both plans bill annually before the user tier is applied.

  • ×

Treating Ramp's free plan as procurement. The free plan includes contract extraction. The procurement add-on, with AI vendor reviews and three-way match, is Plus or Enterprise, and Plus still adds an unpublished team-size fee.

  • ×

Buying a second suite to get more bids. Fairmarkit lists connectors into Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, and Zip and says the ERP stays the system of record. A connector is a different project from a Coupa implementation.

  • ×

Counting Joule Base as a free Ariba subscription. SAP includes Base on qualifying Spend Management plans and still publishes no USD suite price. Premium agents bill in AI units with no USD unit price on the page.

  • ×

Letting a vendor savings claim stand in for your baseline. Zip's 3x intake line, Coupa's 40% setup line, and Omnea's 4 percentage point EBIT story are the vendors' own customer claims. Ask for the baseline and the category before you put them in a business case.

Expert Tips

  • →

Price the Power users, not the whole company, on Precoro's Power or Standard tariff. Standard users are unlimited. On Basic, every login counts toward the tier, and the gap between the floor and the cap is where a casual quote goes wrong.

  • →

Ask Zip whether the Price Negotiation Agent is in the core Procurement Superagent or only in the AI Spend Automation package. The June explainer puts the agent with the Superagent, and the package adds credits and forward-deployed engineers.

  • →

Keep Fairmarkit on the categories your suite never bids. Their page is built to intercept a request, not to become the general ledger of procurement.

  • →

On Ivalua, name the model and the Skills in the order. IVA can use OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Anthropic, Meta, xAI, or a model you bring, and Skills are how your negotiation rules survive a model change.

  • →

Attach Procurify's January 15, 2026 fee table to the software quote in the same redline. The US payment charges are not included by silence.

Red Flags to Watch For

  • !

A Zip order that will not say whether Superagents are in the core subscription or only in AI Spend Automation is selling the explainer and invoicing the package.

  • !

A Precoro quote at the Core floor, after a demo of the assistant, is the wrong plan. The assistant is on the Automation card, and NetSuite is a separate annual add-on on that plan.

  • !

A Ramp order that folds procurement into the Plus seat, with no add-on line, disagrees with the pricing page. The module is an add-on, and the team-size fee is still unpublished.

  • !

A Coupa pitch that treats supplier-portal subscriptions as the buyer license is pricing the wrong side of the network. The buyer suite is an order form, and Compose is outcome-based with no printed amount.

  • !

A Fairmarkit proposal that replaces your purchase-request approvals, rather than writing the award back, is a suite swap. Their integrations page says the ERP stays the system of record.

  • !

A Procurify software quote that never attaches the January 15, 2026 fee table will surprise you at the first ACH, check, or wire.

The Bottom Line

Zip is the AI procurement default when the agent has to run the request and the ERP stays. It publishes no list price, and the June 2026 explainer puts the Superagents on the core products, with a separate package if you want forward-deployed engineers. Sign it when the leak is the request. Skip it when you need a public number this week.

Precoro Automation is the printed floor for the assistant, on annual billing, and Core is the wrong signature if the demo showed that assistant. Fairmarkit is the sourcing connector when Coupa, Ariba, or Zip should remain the system of record. Ramp is the procurement add-on when the card is already how you buy, and the add-on dollar is not on the page.

Coupa, Omnea, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, and GEP belong on the shortlist when you will sign a suite or you already have one. Rank them on the paper, not on a blog estimate. Procurify is the mid-market intake add-on when you can live with a software quote and a published US payment table. A wider purchasing list, without this agent test, is procurement software.

Zip, for a team that wants agents on the request and will keep its ERP. The June 4, 2026 explainer names five Superagents and says they are included with core products, so you are pricing the core subscription until a quote says otherwise. Zip publishes no list price.

Precoro Automation is the pick when you need a printed floor for the assistant, on annual billing. Fairmarkit is the pick when the suite should stay and the gap is competitive bids. Ramp Plus is the pick when the buy will sit on Ramp's card and you will get the procurement add-on in writing.

How much does AI procurement software cost in 2026?

Precoro is the clearest printed range, and it accepts US dollars. Core starts at $499/month and Automation starts at $999/month, both billed annually. The billing help then applies 1 of 11 user tiers, so the floor is not the renewal. NetSuite is an extra annual add-on on Automation.

Ramp's Plus seat is a published monthly rate, and the procurement module is an add-on with no printed dollar. Procurify's software is a quote, with a separate US payment table revised January 15, 2026. Zip, Fairmarkit, Coupa, Omnea, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, and GEP publish no buyer list price as of September 24, 2026.

Is there a free AI procurement tool in 2026?

None of the intake or suite agents on this list publishes a free buyer plan. Zip, Fairmarkit, Coupa, Omnea, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, and Procurify's software are quotes. Precoro's lowest card is Core, and it is paid.

Ramp Free is $0/user/mo. It includes contract extraction and price intelligence, and it does not include the procurement add-on, so free is a contract tool rather than a buying system. That module starts as an add-on on Plus. SAP includes Joule Base at no extra charge only if you already pay for a qualifying Spend Management plan, which is not a free suite.

How does Zip compare with Coupa for AI procurement?

Zip is an intake-to-pay orchestration layer. The June 2026 explainer puts the Superagents on the core products, and Zip publishes no list price, so you keep the ERP and wait on a quote.

Coupa is the source-to-pay suite. Navi Agent Studio went generally available on May 12, 2026, with more than 20 named agents, and the buyer license is also unpublished. Compose is outcome-based and prints no amount.

Pick Zip when the ERP stays and the leak is the request. Pick Coupa when you will run sourcing, invoicing, and the agents in one suite. Fairmarkit can sit on top of either and write the award back. Other suites people compare with Coupa start at Coupa alternatives.

Should I buy Fairmarkit or a full source-to-pay suite?

Buy Fairmarkit when the suite already exists and too little spend is bid. It lists connectors for Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Zip, says most customers go live in about 40 days, and publishes no list price. The ERP stays the system of record, so you are buying bids rather than a new ledger.

Buy Coupa, Ivalua, or GEP when you are choosing the suite itself. Ivalua's IVA is one agent across that suite and has no list price. GEP says SMART customers can turn Quantum Intelligence agents on without a forced migration, also with no list price. The sourcing-only shortlist is the AI sourcing guide.

Does Ramp include AI procurement on the free plan?

No. The procurement block on Ramp's pricing page is an add-on to Plus or Enterprise. It includes custom intake, AI vendor compliance reviews, purchase orders, and three-way match against Ramp receipts. Plus is $15/user/mo, plus a team-size fee the page does not print, and the add-on itself has no printed dollar.

Free is $0/user/mo and includes contract extraction, price intelligence, and QuickBooks Online and Xero. NetSuite and Sage Intacct start on Plus. The card still needs credit approval, and a decline leaves the workflow without an issuer. The card comparison is Ramp vs Brex.

What is the difference between AI procurement and AI sourcing?

AI procurement covers the request through the purchase order: intake, approval, supplier choice, and the PO. Zip, Omnea, Precoro, and Procurify's Guided Intake sit on that path. AI sourcing is the bid itself: who is invited, how the event is scored, and who is awarded.

Fairmarkit is the sourcing agent on this list, and it can attach to a procurement system you already run. A full treatment of sourcing tools is the AI sourcing guide. The purchasing shortlist that does not test which plan holds the agent is procurement software.
