What is cloro?

cloro is one API for real-time search data: structured Google results plus the answers and cited sources from advanced AI models. Credit-based pricing, with a free tier of 500 credits a month. Every engine (Google Search, Google News, AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini) sits behind one API and one response shape, with the same country and US state targeting. Responses come back as markdown, text or HTML plus parsed sources, citations, query fan-out and shopping blocks, which makes cloro a fit for AI search visibility tracking (GEO) as well as classic SERP monitoring. SDKs cover Python and TypeScript, and a hosted MCP server lets Claude, Cursor or any MCP client query the engines as tools. Each request costs a published number of credits by engine (3 credits for a Google Search page, 4 to 7 for AI engines). Plans run from a free tier (500 credits a month) to Lite at $30/mo (37,500 credits), Hobby at $100/mo, Starter at $250/mo and volume tiers from $500/mo.
