Best AI Accounts Receivable Tools in 2026

TL;DR

Short answer: Tesorio is the AI accounts receivable pick when collectors need a scored worklist and a drafted reply, and it publishes no list price, verified September 2026. HighRadius is the multi-ERP suite, at $0 until go-live, then a gain share the announcement does not quantify. Billtrust fits a confidence-score match on messy remittances. Chargebee Flow is the published meter for subscription retries: no platform fee plus 0.80% of monthly billing, or $99 a month plus 0.65%.

Buy the contract where the model scores the invoice, drafts the chase, or matches the cash. A reminder rule is a different product.

265 Accounting tools tracked

Buy the product whose model does the receivables work on the order you sign. A reminder that fires on day 30 is a calendar. Tesorio scores the open invoice, drafts the reply, and pulls a promise-to-pay date out of the email, and the pricing page still has no dollar.

HighRadius is the other opening call when cash application, deductions, and collections are separate modules across more than one ERP. The 2026 commercial offer waives implementation and the subscription until go-live, and the ongoing fee is a share of results rather than a seat. Portal delivery and a customer payment page are a different purchase, covered in the accounts receivable automation guide.

Toolradar data: of the 265 accounting tools we track, 188 (71%) are paid-only, while 9 are free, 60 are freemium, and 26% still offer a free or freemium plan.

That mix is why a free invoicing app and a quote-only collections agent appear in the same search. These 10 are for the person who wants the model on the chase or the match. Sending the PDF, without a score, is the invoicing software guide.

How we chose: we set these 10 against the 265 tools in accounting. Every price below was read on the vendor site on September 24, 2026, and the ranking took no payment for a slot.

Tesorio

Top Pick
  • 4.7 on G2 (238 reviews)
  • 4.9 on Capterra (10 reviews)

Collections teams that want a scored worklist and a drafted reply.

+The collections agent scores every open invoice from payment history, risk, and aging, then drafts routine replies and extracts a promise-to-pay date from the customer's email.
+The cash-application page says ML matches partial payments, overpayments, and multi-entity applications at 95%+ accuracy, and the homepage states that rate across 200+ customers.
+Connectors on the homepage include NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Zuora, Salesforce, and Stripe, plus a Coupa and Ariba portal agent.
−Tesorio publishes no list price. The commercial page is a conversation, so a seat ranking is not possible until the quote names modules and volume.
−The homepage's portal agent is its own line. A cash-match pilot that never names Coupa or Ariba does not include that work.
2
HighRadius logo

HighRadius

  • 4.3 on G2 (238 reviews)
  • 4.4 on Capterra (13 reviews)
  • 3.5 on PeerSpot (2 reviews)

Multi-ERP teams that will write the success metric before go-live.

HighRadius screenshot
+The February 2026 announcement waives implementation and the subscription until go-live, then takes a fraction of realized gains. That shifts the implementation invoice off the start of the project.
+The pricing FAQ lists credit, collections, cash application, deductions, and electronic presentment, and each module can be bought on its own.
+The same announcement describes 190+ agents across order-to-cash, payables, close, and treasury, and names 1,500+ enterprises.
−The gain-share percent is not published, and the pricing FAQ still prices by modules, integrations, and complexity. Two logos do not share one number.
−A contract that names only credit or only presentment leaves cash application on your clerks. The demo's agent is not the order.
Good value

HighRadius' Outcome Based Pricing is innovative and low-risk for enterprise clients, with zero upfront implementation fees and payment only when AI agents deliver value.

Watch out

Gain share percentage may be high (e.g., 20-30% of savings)

Teams whose remittances arrive incomplete and need a movable match threshold.

+Cash application uses confidence-based machine learning rather than a fixed rule, and you can raise or lower the score that sends a payment to review.
+The FAQ says straight-through rates often exceed 90%, and typical engagements include same-day exception triage.
+The product ingests ACH, wire, card, check, and AP-portal payments, and it learns from the exceptions your team corrects.
−Billtrust publishes no list price, so the confidence engine cannot be ranked against a printed seat until the quote names volume and modules.
−A tighter threshold improves the matches that post and enlarges the queue your clerks still clear. The 90% line is a service-level conversation, not a guarantee on your file.
4
Versapay logo

Versapay

  • 4.1 on G2 (101 reviews)

Teams that will grant the agent authority in steps, not on day one.

Versapay screenshot
+The AI page describes four steps: augment, assist, action, and autonomous, and you set the rules before the agent acts.
+That page states 90%+ straight-through processing on messy remittances, improving with each transaction.
+The same page reports 10,000+ customers, 5 million+ companies transacting, 120 million annual transactions, and more than $300 billion in annual payments processed.
−Versapay publishes no list price. Invoice volume, user count, and payment fees are all on the quote, and none of them are on a plan card.
−Autonomy does not collect from a customer who never opens the portal. Those accounts stay with a person.
5
Invoiced logo

Invoiced

  • 4.5 on G2 (417 reviews)
  • 4.3 on SourceForge (67 reviews)

Cross-border B2B books roughly in Invoiced's printed revenue band.

Invoiced screenshot
+Assist drafts the reminder program and the inbox reply. Automate runs Smart Chasing and CashMatch AI, which posts above your threshold and flags short pays.
+Two-way sync is named for NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, Xero, and Workday Finance, in 140+ currencies across 240+ countries.
+Invoiced says clients average a 14-day DSO improvement, and the platform moves payments on Flywire's network rather than handing the cash to a second processor.
−Invoiced publishes no list price. The fit line is companies typically from $100 million to $2 billion in revenue, so a smaller domestic book is outside that sentence.
−Every agent starts in propose-and-approve mode. A demo that posts without a person is a setting you have to turn on, not the default.
6
BlackLine logo

BlackLine

  • 4.5 on G2 (1,103 reviews)

Controllers who already close on BlackLine and want the call placed for them.

BlackLine screenshot
+Verity Collect places outbound collections calls, transcribes them, and extracts payment commitments, and the team keeps VIP accounts.
+Verity for AR Management classifies inbound email by urgency and sentiment, and the April 15, 2026 post says it is included in the standard AR Management subscription.
+The collections page states a 30% reduction in aged debt, a 25% cut in provisions, and a 35% productivity increase. Those are BlackLine's figures to retest.
−BlackLine publishes no list price. Both Verity products are in an early adopter program on that April post, so a standard subscription does not mean the voice agent is on tomorrow.
−The inbox assistant flags the urgent email and does not answer the customer. If you wanted the model to send the reply, this is the wrong control.
Fair value

BlackLine does not publicly disclose its pricing, which is common for enterprise-grade SaaS solutions.

7
Zuora logo

Zuora

  • 3.9 on G2 (311 reviews)
  • 3.9 on Capterra (54 reviews)

Subscription and hybrid books that already bill on Zuora.

+Collections uses machine learning on payment history to predict cash inflows, expected DSO, and accounts likely to default.
+The product page supports contracted, prepaid usage, subscription, and hybrid invoices, and it can hand a collected payment to cash application on the same record.
+Overrides stay with the team: you can escalate, attach a note, and keep an audit trail when the workflow should stop.
−Zuora Collections publishes no list price. Entitlement names such as Core, Pro, and Elite do not carry a dollar on the product page.
−A trade invoice with a deduction and a customer AP portal is outside the billing models that page lists. That book belongs on a cash-application suite.
Fair value

However, the feature sets suggest it's likely an expensive solution, especially for the 'Scale' and 'Enterprise' tiers, positioning it as a premium offering.

Watch out

Overage fees for events or subscribers beyond tier limits

8
Chargebee logo

Chargebee

  • 4.4 on G2 (997 reviews)
  • 4.3 on Capterra (110 reviews)

Subscription companies that will pay a percent of billing for smart retries.

+Flow is no platform fee plus 0.80% of monthly billing value, or a monthly fee plus 0.65%. The page marks the breakeven at $66,000 of monthly billing.
+Smart dunning is included on Flow and on Enterprise. The smart setting retries from the gateway error, up to 12 times, and hard declines wait for a new payment method.
+Receivables, on its own page, segments risk, classifies the reply, and drafts a resolution on the billing record, with NetSuite, Salesforce, and QuickBooks named.
−Receivables is early access and that page publishes no dollar. A Flow subscription does not include the drafter the collections demo showed.
−Smart dunning recovers a failed subscription charge. It does not apply a lockbox payment or a trade short-pay.
Good value

This pricing structure is best for early-stage companies or larger enterprises with custom needs.

Watch out

Overage fees if exceeding billing limits

9
Recurly logo

Recurly

  • 4.1 on G2 (224 reviews)
  • 4.6 on Capterra (62 reviews)
  • 4.0 on Trustpilot (4 reviews)

Subscription businesses that can meet the All-Access volume minimum.

+Starter adds 0.9% of billing volume on top of the monthly fee in the table, and the first $40,000 of billings each month is included. It includes one dunning campaign.
+All-Access adds AI-powered agents and intelligent churn-prevention tools, billed annually at under 1% of volume, with a $1,000,000 billing-volume minimum.
+Engage, the propensity-to-churn add-on, starts at $1,600 a month billed annually. RevRec starts at $850 a month billed annually.
−The AI agents are not on Starter. A buyer who signs that plan after an agent demo keeps static churn tools and a single campaign.
−All-Access is the wrong budget under the volume minimum in the table. Recurly does not publish a dollar between those two plans.
Good value

Recurly's pricing model, based on a percentage of revenue, can be fair for businesses with predictable growth, starting at 0.9% for the Core plan.

Watch out

Potential overage charges if revenue exceeds tier limits.

10
Stripe Billing logo

Stripe Billing

  • 4.4 on G2 (142 reviews)

Recurring invoices already collected on Stripe, not one-off trade bills.

+The first monthly tier covers up to $100,000 of Billing volume, on a one-year contract paid monthly. Smart Retries are marked included.
+Further tiers on that page are $1,500, $2,950, and $5,750 a month, and volume above the tier is 0.67%.
+The Billing docs say Smart Retries use machine learning, with a recommended default of 8 tries within 2 weeks, and you can set a different count and window.
−Billing volume excludes one-off invoices. A single trade invoice is not on this meter, and card charges on the same page are 2.9% + 30¢.
−A custom portal domain is $10 a month on top of the tier. Pay as you go is a percentage of volume with no recurring fee, and that percentage is a separate line from the monthly tier.
Good value

Stripe Billing's pricing, at 0.5% for Starter and 0.8% for Scale, is competitive and generally fair for the value provided in managing recurring payments.

What an AI accounts receivable tool actually does

An AI accounts receivable tool scores open invoices, drafts or places the collection, or matches a payment from a model rather than a fixed day-count rule. A scheduler that only emails on day 30 still leaves the judgment on your team.

A collections agent on a named ERP suits a mid-market book where the pain is who to call and what to write. Tesorio does that scoring and drafting, and it also matches cash. Invoiced splits the same idea into Assist, Automate, Advise, and Configure, and it settles the payment on Flywire's network. If the ledger under those connectors is still open, read NetSuite vs Sage Intacct before you treat the agent as the books.

A multi-module credit-to-cash suite suits a company whose remittances and short-pays already span more than one ERP. HighRadius sells credit, collections, cash application, deductions, and electronic presentment as separate modules, so the agent in the demo can be absent from the order. Billtrust puts a confidence score on the match and lets you move the threshold. Versapay describes a ladder from augment to autonomous, and the cash-match claim on that page is 90%+ straight-through processing.

A close platform with a voice agent suits a controller who already reconciles on BlackLine. Verity Collect places the routine call, and Verity for AR Management sorts the inbox. If the close lives somewhere else, you are adopting reconciliations to get the agent.

A subscription recovery meter suits failed cards and recurring invoices, and it will not post a lockbox file. Chargebee includes smart dunning on Flow. Recurly puts one dunning campaign on Starter and the AI agents on All-Access. Stripe Billing includes machine-learning retries on every printed Billing plan. Zuora Collections forecasts cash from payment history for subscription and hybrid invoices, and it publishes no dollar. Trade deductions across customer AP portals stay on the automation guide, not on these four.

Why the demo's agent is usually a different line on the order

The expensive miss is signing a collections seat because the demo drafted an email. Scoring, drafting, matching, and posting can be four products, and a contract that names only the reminder leaves the lockbox where it was.

Tesorio's collections page scores every open invoice from payment history, risk, aging, and other behavioral signals, then drafts routine replies for a person to send. The cash-application page says the match handles partial payments, overpayments, and multi-entity applications at 95%+ accuracy. The homepage states a 95%+ auto-match rate across 200+ customers, which is Tesorio's figure, so rerun it on a payment with no remittance before you staff to it. Coupa and Ariba portal work is a separate agent on that homepage, not proof the cash match is in the same order.

HighRadius prices by the modules you choose, the integrations, and the complexity of the receivables operation. The February 2026 announcement adds a second commercial shape: no implementation fee and no subscription until go-live, then a fraction of realized gains. The fraction is not on the page. Two companies can both "buy HighRadius" and get a credit module without cash application. The pricing FAQ also says many clients see lower DSO within 3 to 6 months, which is a vendor window, not your forecast.

Billtrust's cash-application FAQ says the engine is confidence-based machine learning, not a static rule, and that straight-through rates often exceed 90%, with same-day exception triage as a typical service level. You set the threshold, so a tighter score creates a larger queue. There is still no printed plan to set beside a seat.

Versapay's AI page walks from augment, where you make the last call, to autonomous, where agents act inside permissions you already set. The same page states 90%+ straight-through processing that improves with every transaction, and more than $300 billion in annual payments processed. Those are Versapay's figures. If customers never open the portal, the model does not collect for you.

Invoiced's agents start in a propose-and-approve mode, and CashMatch AI posts only above a threshold you set, with a short-pay flag on every match. The company says it serves businesses typically from $100 million to $2 billion in revenue, and that clients see an average 14-day DSO improvement. A QuickBooks shop under that band is outside the fit line Invoiced printed.

BlackLine's April 15, 2026 post says Verity for AR Management is included in the standard AR Management subscription, and that both Verity Collect and that inbox assistant are reached through an early adopter program. The collections page states a 30% reduction in aged debt, a 25% reduction in provisions, and a 35% increase in productivity. Treat those three as BlackLine's published claims and rerun them on your aging. The post describes the voice agent as the path for smaller balances, including invoices under $500 that the team does not have time to call, and it escalates when it detects friction.

Zuora Collections uses payment history and machine learning to predict cash inflows, expected DSO, and accounts likely to default, and it supports contracted, prepaid usage, subscription, and hybrid invoices. The product page has no dollar. Chargebee is the opposite problem: Flow prints two meters, and smart dunning is on both, while Receivables, the product that classifies replies and drafts a resolution, is in early access with no dollar on its page. A Flow order does not include that collections product. Recurly Starter includes one dunning campaign and static churn tools. The AI-powered agents and intelligent churn-prevention tools start on All-Access, which requires the volume minimum in the pricing table and bills under 1% annually. Stripe Billing includes Smart Retries on the feature table for the plans it prints, and the description excludes one-off invoices.

Key Features to Look For

  • The model named on the order (Essential)

Tesorio's collections agent drafts the reply and extracts a promise date. Invoiced's CashMatch posts above your threshold. Chargebee's smart dunning is on Flow, and Receivables, which drafts the resolution, is a separate early-access product.

  • A confidence line you can move (Essential)

Billtrust lets you raise or lower the match score, which changes how many payments hit the exception queue. Versapay's AI page claims 90%+ straight-through processing. Tesorio routes unmatched cash to suggestions ranked by confidence.

  • A person on the send, if audit requires it (Essential)

Tesorio drafts for one-click send or human review. Invoiced starts every agent in propose-and-approve mode. BlackLine's inbox assistant flags urgent mail and does not answer the customer. Chargebee Receivables can run only where you allow it.

  • The pre-go-live fee, written as zero or not (Important)

HighRadius's 2026 announcement waives implementation and the subscription until go-live, then charges an unquantified gain share. The other quote-only suites on this list do not publish that zero. A gain share still needs the success metric in the contract.

  • The ERP and the portal, named (Important)

Tesorio's homepage lists NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Zuora, Salesforce, and Stripe, plus a Coupa and Ariba portal agent. Invoiced syncs both ways with those ledgers and also names Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, and Xero. A demo file is not that connector.

  • Retries that are not a trade lockbox (Important)

Chargebee smart dunning retries from gateway error type, up to 12 times on the smart setting. Recurly Starter includes one dunning campaign. Stripe Smart Retries use machine learning and the Billing docs recommend 8 tries within 2 weeks. None of those post a check file.

  • A revenue band on the vendor's own page (Nice to have)

Invoiced says it is for companies typically from $100 million to $2 billion in annual revenue, often collecting across borders, in 140+ currencies and 240+ countries. A smaller domestic book is a different product, even if the demo looked the same.

  • Early access versus included (Nice to have)

BlackLine includes the inbox assistant in the standard AR Management subscription and still routes both Verity products through an early adopter program as of the April 15, 2026 post. Chargebee Receivables is early access. Ask which of those is on the paper you will sign.

What to settle before the demo

  1. Name the failure first. A scored chase, a confidence-based cash match, a voice call, and a failed subscription card are four products on this list.

  2. Ask which HighRadius module is in the order. Credit, collections, cash application, deductions, and presentment can be bought alone, and the gain share still needs a written success metric.

  3. On Chargebee, separate Flow's smart dunning from Receivables. The published meter includes the retry. The product that drafts the resolution is early access and has no dollar.

  4. On Recurly, do not budget Starter if the demo showed AI agents. Those agents start on All-Access, and Starter lists one dunning campaign.

  5. Leave Tesorio, Billtrust, Versapay, Invoiced, BlackLine, and Zuora out of any seat ranking until the quote names volume, entities, and which agent is included.

Evaluation Checklist

  • On Tesorio, connect the ERP you run and read one week of promise dates the agent extracts from real replies, then run one payment with no remittance against the 95%+ match claim.

  • On HighRadius, list the modules on the draft order and ask whether outcome-based pricing applies to that scope. The waiver ends at go-live, and the gain-share percent is not on the announcement.

  • On Billtrust, move the confidence threshold in the demo and count how many of last month's payments fall into the exception queue at each setting.

  • On Invoiced, confirm CashMatch is set to post only above your threshold, and that the company revenue band on the page matches yours.

  • On Chargebee, confirm the trial is Flow smart dunning and not Receivables. Receivables early access is a demo, and the pricing page's two meters are the Billing product.

  • On Stripe Billing, confirm the invoices are recurring. The pricing page says Billing volume excludes one-off invoices, so a single trade bill is outside that meter.

Dollars in this table were taken from vendor sites on September 24, 2026. Quote rows publish no ongoing list price. Chargebee's page marks a $66,000 monthly-billing breakeven between the two Flow meters. Recurly Engage starts at $1,600 a month, billed annually, and RevRec starts at $850 a month, billed annually. Stripe's next volume tiers are $1,500, $2,950, and $5,750 a month, with 0.67% on Billing volume above the tier, and a custom portal domain is $10 a month. Card charges on that same Stripe page are 2.9% + 30¢.

The ledger under a NetSuite or Sage Intacct connector is NetSuite vs Sage Intacct. Leaving a single agent for a wider shelf is Tesorio alternatives. Supplier bills, rather than customer invoices, are the AI accounts payable guide.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • ×

Buying the reminder and calling it the model. A day-30 email is a rule. Tesorio's score, Invoiced's threshold post, and Billtrust's confidence match are the products this page is ranking.

  • ×

Signing HighRadius for one module after a demo of cash application. The pricing FAQ bills the modules you choose, and the waiver lasts only until go-live.

  • ×

Treating Chargebee Flow as Receivables. Smart dunning is on both Flow meters. The drafter is early access and has no printed price.

  • ×

Stopping on Recurly Starter because Starter is the number on the card. AI agents start on All-Access, past the volume minimum in the table.

  • ×

Pricing Stripe Billing for a one-off invoice. The pricing page excludes one-off invoices from Billing volume, and the printed monthly tier is recurring volume.

Expert Tips

  • →

Read one week of Tesorio promise dates from live email before you cut a collector. The agent extracts the date, and a wrong date becomes the forecast.

  • →

Put the HighRadius success metric in the order before implementation starts. The announcement does not print the gain-share percent, so the contract has to.

  • →

Move Billtrust's threshold on last month's file. The FAQ's 90% line is a starting service level, and your exception queue is the staffing number.

  • →

Ask Invoiced which agent is in Assist and which is allowed to post. CashMatch can post above your threshold, and the default is still a human approval.

  • →

Split Chargebee's two products on one page before the demo ends. Flow is the priced retry. Receivables is the early-access drafter. See the subscription management guide if the real question is the billing system, not the chase.

  • →

Confirm Stripe's window in the Billing retry settings. The docs recommend 8 tries within 2 weeks, and ACH retries are a shorter, separate cap from cards.

Red Flags to Watch For

  • !

A HighRadius order that prices the platform without naming credit, collections, cash application, deductions, or presentment, because the pricing FAQ says you pay for the modules, integrations, and complexity you choose.

  • !

A Tesorio proposal that treats the Coupa and Ariba portal agent as included in a cash-match pilot. The homepage lists them as their own agent.

  • !

A Chargebee workspace on Flow after a Receivables demo. Smart dunning is on the published meter. The collections product that drafts resolutions is early access and publishes no dollar.

  • !

A Recurly Starter order after a demo of AI agents. Starter lists static churn tools and one dunning campaign. AI-powered agents start on All-Access.

  • !

A BlackLine rollout that assumes Verity Collect is on every AR Management seat today. The April 15, 2026 post puts both Verity products in an early adopter program, even though the inbox assistant is included in the standard subscription.

  • !

A Stripe Billing quote used as the price of one-off invoices. The pricing page says Billing volume excludes one-off invoices.

The Bottom Line

Choose Tesorio when the job is a scored worklist and a drafted reply, and wait for a quote. Choose HighRadius when the book spans modules and ERPs, and write the gain-share metric before you rely on the pre-go-live waiver. Choose Billtrust when the match score has to move. Choose Versapay when you will grant the agent authority in steps. Choose Invoiced when the book is cross-border and inside the revenue band that page prints.

Choose BlackLine when the close is already there and the voice agent can wait on early access. Choose Zuora Collections when the invoice is already a Zuora subscription or hybrid bill. Choose Chargebee Flow when you want a printed retry meter, and do not confuse it with Receivables. Choose Recurly All-Access when volume clears the minimum in the table and the demo showed agents. Choose Stripe Billing when the invoices are recurring and the first monthly tier covers the volume.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best AI accounts receivable tool in 2026?

Tesorio, when the job is a scored worklist and a drafted collection reply. It publishes no list price. The collections agent ranks invoices from payment history and aging, drafts routine emails, and extracts a promise-to-pay date. The cash-application page claims 95%+ match accuracy.

Choose HighRadius when cash application and deductions span more than one ERP. The 2026 offer waives fees until go-live, then takes a gain share with no printed percent. Choose Billtrust when you need a confidence threshold on messy remittances. Choose Chargebee Flow when the book is failed subscription charges and you want a printed meter.

How much does AI accounts receivable software cost in 2026?

Most trade-receivables agents publish no USD list price. Tesorio, Billtrust, Versapay, Invoiced, BlackLine, and Zuora Collections are quotes. HighRadius publishes nothing due until go-live, then a gain share it does not quantify. That waiver is not a seat price.

Where a meter exists, it is subscription recovery. Chargebee Flow is 0.80% of monthly billing with no platform fee, or $99 a month plus 0.65%, and the page marks a $66,000 breakeven. Recurly Starter is $249 a month plus 0.9%, with the first $40,000 of monthly billings included. Stripe Billing's first monthly tier is $620 for up to $100,000 of recurring Billing volume.

Is there a free AI accounts receivable tool in 2026?

None of these ten publishes a free collections agent you can run on a live book. HighRadius's waiver applies until go-live, and a gain share starts after that. Chargebee Flow can show no platform fee, and you still pay 0.80% of monthly billing. Receivables itself is early access, not a free plan with a printed limit.

Recurly Starter and Stripe Billing's cheapest monthly tier are both paid, at the rates in the table. Tesorio, Billtrust, Versapay, Invoiced, BlackLine, and Zuora Collections do not publish a free tier.

How does Tesorio compare with HighRadius?

Tesorio is the collections agent and the cash match for a team that can name its ERP. The homepage lists NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Zuora, Salesforce, and Stripe, and it states a 95%+ auto-match rate across 200+ customers. It publishes no list price.

HighRadius is the wider suite: credit, collections, cash application, deductions, and presentment, each available on its own, with nothing due until go-live and an unquantified gain share after. Pick Tesorio when the gap is the chase and the match. Pick HighRadius when deductions and more than one ERP are the backlog. Portal delivery, as opposed to the model, is the accounts receivable automation guide.

Which AI accounts receivable tool fits subscription invoices?

Chargebee, Recurly, Stripe Billing, or Zuora, and only for recurring charges. Chargebee Flow includes smart dunning at 0.80% or on the monthly meter plus 0.65%. Recurly's AI agents start on All-Access, not on Starter. Stripe Billing includes Smart Retries on the monthly tiers in the table and excludes one-off invoices. Zuora Collections forecasts DSO from payment history and publishes no dollar.

A trade short-pay, a deduction, or a lockbox file is Tesorio, HighRadius, or Billtrust. Those three do not use the subscription meters above.

Does the AI post cash or send the chase without a person?

Only where the product says it will, and usually only after you allow it. Invoiced's CashMatch can post above a threshold you set, and every agent starts in propose-and-approve mode. Billtrust posts high-confidence matches and queues the rest. Tesorio drafts the reply for a person to send. BlackLine's inbox assistant prioritizes email and does not answer it, while Verity Collect places the call and escalates when it hears friction.

Chargebee Receivables can run where you allow it, and that product is early access. If auditors want a person on every post, leave the autopost setting off before go-live.

What if I only need to send the invoice, not score it?

Use an invoicing tool, not this list. Scoring, drafting, and confidence matching are the job these ten sell. Creating the PDF and taking a card is a smaller product, compared in the invoicing software guide.

If the open question is the ledger rather than the agent, start with accounting software or, for a multi-entity quote, enterprise accounting software. The side-by-side of the two ledgers these agents name most often is NetSuite vs Sage Intacct.
