Best Purchase Order Software in 2026

TL;DR

Short answer: Precoro is the purchase order software to buy in 2026 when the order, the receipt, and the supplier bill have to match and the opening price has to be public. Core is listed from $499/month on an annual bill. ProcurementExpress Basic is $415/month when QuickBooks stays and you want a 14-day trial. Tradogram Essentials is $99/month when sending the PO is the whole job, because custom approvals are not on that card.

The order should not leave the building until the right person has approved the lines, the quantity, and the supplier.

Do not pay a supplier from an email thread. A purchase order names the item, the quantity, the price, and the vendor before the goods arrive, and the software earns its fee only when that document cannot go out without an approval. A form that still lets someone email the supplier leaves finance with a bill it cannot tie to a receipt.

Precoro is the default when that document, a receipt, and a supplier bill have to share one record, and when you need a dollar figure you can put in a budget this week. Core is the package that lists the order and the match.

Toolradar data: of the 610 finance tools in this directory, 31% still open with a free or freemium plan (36 free, 151 freemium), while 419 are paid-only (69%).

A printed annual floor, a plan with a monthly spend cap, and a quote-only suite are different purchases. These 10 are for the person who issues the order. A sourcing team running a bid event should start with procurement software. Stock replenishment that happens to create an order sits closer to inventory management software. Paying the bill after the match is accounts payable software for small business.

How we chose: these 10 were set against the 610 tools in finance. Every price below was read on the vendor's own site on September 24, 2026, and no company paid for a rank.

Top Pick
  • 4.8 on Capterra (255 reviews)
  • 4.7 on G2 (220 reviews)

Teams that need the PO, the receipt, and the bill on one record.

+Sign Core when the demo was the order itself. Requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, 2-way and 3-way match, and automated approvals are on that package, and it names QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Slack.
+Precoro says it accepts US dollars, British pounds, and euros, so a US buyer can ask for a dollar invoice. The comparison table also lists 300 currencies on the documents, which covers a supplier billing outside the home currency.
+The company quotes 99.9% uptime, SOC 2 Type II, and a mobile app for creating and approving orders. Cancellation is allowed with 30 days' notice, and you can request a full data export.
−Automation, from $999/month on annual billing, is where real-time budget tracking, punch-outs, the supplier portal, RFPs, API access, and SSO are listed. Core does not include that block, so a punch-out demo is a higher annual card.
−User management is tier-based on Core and Automation, and Precoro publishes no cap next to the opening price, so the floor is not a headcount quote. Onboarding is typically 4 to 6 weeks, and concierge setup is a paid add-on with up to ten consultations.
Good value

Precoro's pricing is on the higher side for small to medium businesses, with the 'Core' plan at $499/month offering essential procurement.

2
ProcurementExpress logo

ProcurementExpress

  • 4.7 on G2 (61 reviews)

Teams that will keep QuickBooks and can live inside a spend ceiling.

+Basic is $415 per month and includes self-serve setup, QuickBooks, a single organization, and basic reporting, with a stated capacity of $10,000 a month. There is a 14-day trial and no credit card is required.
+Better is $900 per month and adds Sage 50 plus Amazon punch-outs, with capacity up to $1,000,000 a month. Best is $2,550 per month, allows up to 5 organizations, and is the card that lists Scan & Match, so receiving against the PO starts there.
+The help center prices a Multi-Company pack at $575 a month or $6,900 a year when one login has to cover a second organization. Enterprise, which names NetSuite, Dynamics, and Okta or Azure, is a quote.
−Scan & Match is not on Basic. A team that wants the receipt in the match is looking at Best, and a receiving warehouse that signs Basic will meet that upgrade with the first goods.
−ProcurementExpress says most organizations are running in 15 minutes, which is their claim about a basic setup. A punch-out catalog and a dedicated implementer are not on the opening card.
3
Tradogram logo

Tradogram

  • 4.5 on Capterra (109 reviews)
  • 4.3 on SourceForge (67 reviews)
  • 4.2 on G2 (36 reviews)

Small teams that only need to send purchase orders and match invoices.

+Essentials is the monthly card in the comparison table, or $950.40 a year, which the page describes as a 20% discount against monthly billing. It includes purchase orders, supplier management, AP invoices with matching, TradoPay, and TradoScan OCR, so the vendor PDF does not have to be retyped.
+You can start on Essentials and move to Premium or Scale later, and the FAQ says data and workflows carry over. Mobile apps are on the monthly Essentials list.
+Scale is the quoted card with unlimited users, a custom SLA, and multi-region hosting. Use it when the headcount will not fit an additional-user fee, because that fee is how Essentials grows.
−Custom approval routing, requisitions, goods receipt, real-time budgets, and contracts are marked included on Premium and Scale. Premium is a quote from 20 users. Essentials will not stop the send if a manager has to approve it.
−ERP and accounting integrations, punch-out, SSO, and API access are add-ons on every plan, and Tradogram publishes no price for them. A QuickBooks sync can change the Essentials total.
Fair value

This pricing structure is best suited for established SMBs and larger enterprises with complex procurement needs.

Watch out

Potential user add-on costs for Pro

4
BILL logo

BILL

  • 4.4 on G2 (1,811 reviews)

Companies that already approve vendor bills in BILL.

+Corporate is $89 per user per month and lists purchase requests, create-and-send purchase orders, tolerance rules, 2-way matching, and unlimited purchase requesters. That is the published seat when the PO has to live next to the bill.
+Team is $65 per user per month and adds automatic 2-way sync with QuickBooks Online and Xero, but the procurement rows on Team and Essentials say Procurement add-on. The sync seat can still be missing the order.
+A payor ACH is $0.59 and a mailed check is $1.99, separate from the seat. Spend & Expense is $0 per user per month for cards and budgets, which leaves the purchase order on a different module.
−The Procurement add-on has no published price. Enterprise, the custom plan, is where purchase-order sync and automatic 2-way and 3-way matching are listed, and the footnote says features vary by accounting software.
−Essentials and Team bill every user as a standard user. Approver-only discounts are described on Corporate and Enterprise, so a wide approver list on the cheaper seats is a full seat each.
5
Odoo logo

Odoo

  • 4.2 on Capterra (1,331 reviews)
  • 4.2 on G2 (355 reviews)

Teams that can keep purchasing inside one Odoo app.

+With the US price list selected, One App Free is $0 for one app and unlimited users on Odoo Online, so Purchase can be that single app until the database needs another one. Purchase covers RFQs, blanket orders, and vendor bills based on ordered or received quantities.
+Standard shows $24.90 per user per month beside US$31.10. Odoo labels the lower figure as promotional and the higher one as list, so budget the renewal at the list rate. The page also shows a pair at US$31.10 and US$38.90.
+Suppliers on the portal are not paying users, so a long vendor list does not multiply the seats. Hosting, backups, and email support are included on the subscription, and the US page says upgrades are included.
−The discount lasts 12 months and applies to the initial users ordered, so a later hire pays the list rate. Custom, which adds multi-company, Studio, and the external API, shows $49 beside US$61, plus a pair at US$61 and US$76.20. Odoo.sh hosting is extra.
−Installing a second app leaves One App Free, so inventory plus purchasing is a paid database. Light users cannot open Purchases. Implementation is not in the subscription, and Odoo publishes no Success Pack price.
Great value

Odoo offers exceptional value for ERP.

Unleashed logo

Unleashed

  • 4.4 on Capterra (285 reviews)
  • 4.3 on SourceForge (67 reviews)
  • 4.0 on G2 (35 reviews)

Product businesses that reorder stock and receipt it.

Unleashed screenshot
+The US pricing page says all prices are in United States dollars. Lite is $99 a month, Core is $399 a month, and Pro is $729 a month. Annual Lite is $1,089, which the page calls a $91 equivalent monthly amount.
+Purchasing includes purchase orders, purchase receipting, supplier management, recost after receipt, and returns to the supplier. Xero and QuickBooks Online are in the integration list, and the trial runs 14 days, long enough to receipt one order and watch the item cost.
+Lite and Core include 3 user licenses and Pro includes 5. Each plan includes 100 sales orders a month. Extra users on Lite and Core are $69 a month, and a monthly plan can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
−This is inventory software that issues purchase orders. The purchasing list does not name a 3-way invoice match or a multi-step approval policy, so an indirect buying team will not get that approval card here.
−Multi-warehouse is Core and Pro only, so a second building is off Lite. Extra sales-order packs run $70, $200, $320, or $490 a month depending on the ceiling. Self-serve onboarding is a $449 one-off fee, and full onboarding is $5,549.
Good value

Unleashed's pricing, starting at $399/month for the Core plan, is on the higher side compared to some entry-level inventory management solutions, but it offers robust features from the start.

Watch out

Potential for API call overage fees

7
Procurify logo

Procurify

  • 4.6 on G2 (398 reviews)
  • 4.6 on Capterra (204 reviews)
  • 4.0 on TrustRadius (3 reviews)

Mid-market teams that will quote Purchasing and keep Basic users free.

Procurify screenshot
+Every customer starts on Purchasing. That base includes order requests, product catalogs, vendors, and purchase orders generated from approved requests, plus budgets, approval routing, and the mobile app.
+Basic users who request or receive are unlimited. The quote is driven by Pro users, products, and integrations. Accounting sync names QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
+The fee table revised January 15, 2026 prices US ACH at $0.50, a US check at $2, and a US domestic wire at $15. A September 16, 2026 note says those ACH and check fees can be billed monthly instead of on each payment.
−The purchasing subscription has no published price. Guided Intake and Contracts are add-ons, so a quote can omit the intake flow you saw in the demo.
−Card foreign exchange is 2.5% of the transaction. A USD SWIFT wire is also $15. Those charges sit on top of the license for US customers using bill pay.

Watch out

Potential for high minimum seat counts.

8
Order.co logo

Order.co

  • 4.4 on G2 (111 reviews)

Multi-location teams buying physical supplies on one workflow.

Order.co screenshot
+The purchase order page lists automatic PO generation, recurring orders, and approvals by user, location, cost center, vendor, and order subtotal, including line-level edits. A multi-location buyer can hold a supply order by site.
+Approved requests go out by phone, email, or ecommerce checkout, and the same page lists 2-way and 3-way matching. Accounting integrations named there include QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Workday.
+Order.co's own homepage cites a customer line of $50,000 a month in unapproved spending removed, and a sourcing line of $190,000 saved. Those are Order.co's claims, not a rate card.
−Order.co publishes no list price and no free buyer plan. A quote has to name locations and spend volume before you can rank it against Precoro's printed floor.
−The product is built around placing and tracking goods orders, including an AI checkout into vendor sites. A services team that never receives a box is paying for fulfillment it will not use.
9
NetSuite logo

NetSuite

  • 4.1 on G2 (4,927 reviews)
  • 4.2 on Capterra (2,068 reviews)

Companies whose ledger is already NetSuite.

+Purchase management converts an approved request into a purchase order, tracks special orders and drop shipments, and can mix inventory, expense, and service items on one order. A stock line and a service line can share that PO.
+Approval routing can limit sign-off by amount, authorizer level, and department, with backup approvers, so a missing manager does not stall the send. If a purchasing contract exists, NetSuite says the contract price is applied on the order.
+SuiteProcurement is a separate add-on for punch-out to a supplier store, and it creates the request inside NetSuite after checkout. Catalog buying and the plain PO are different lines on the quote.
−Purchase management is included with NetSuite Procurement, which is an add-on. The cost section describes an annual license of core platform, optional modules, and users, plus a one-time implementation fee, and it publishes no dollar.
−You are buying the ERP module, not a standalone PO app. A company that is not already on NetSuite is funding a ledger replacement to get the order. Other suites people compare start at NetSuite vs Sage Intacct.
Fair value

It's best suited for growing businesses that require a comprehensive, integrated ERP system and can absorb the higher initial costs.

10
Coupa logo

Coupa

  • 4.5 on G2 (570 reviews)

Enterprises that will run intake and the PO in one suite.

+Coupa's intake page says a guided request is routed for approval and a purchase order is created and sent when one is required. Policies and budgets can sit on the form, and off-contract items can be flagged before the supplier is emailed.
+Purchase orders can go out by email, portal, cXML, or EDI, with notifications by SMS or the mobile app. The same page says Coupa does not charge supplier fees for that send, which is a supplier term, not the buyer license.
+Contracted prices can be applied at the moment of the request, which matters when people buy off a negotiated rate. The buyer path on the site is a demo, not a checkout.
−Coupa publishes no buyer list price for the procurement suite. A supplier-side subscription is a different product from the license you would sign to issue POs.
−This is a suite decision. A team that only needs to number an order and match a receipt will wait through that project for work Precoro prints on Core. Other buyers start from Coupa alternatives.

What purchase order software actually does

Purchase order software creates a numbered order, routes it for approval, sends it to the supplier, and keeps the receipt and the invoice on that same number. If the supplier email still sits with a person, finance inherits the mismatch.

A matched order on a printed floor suits a company that will not release goods until the PO, the receipt, and the bill agree. Precoro puts that match on Core, with QuickBooks Online and Xero, so the bookkeeper stays in the ledger. Skip it when you need a month-to-month card, because that package bills annually.

A QuickBooks layer with a spend ceiling suits a bookkeeper who will not leave the ledger. ProcurementExpress names QuickBooks on Basic and states a monthly purchasing capacity on each paid card, so a busier month is a plan change. The receipt match sits on the top printed card, so a receiving warehouse should skip the opening plan.

A low send-the-PO card suits a tiny team where the buyer and the approver are the same person. Tradogram includes purchase orders and invoice matching on Essentials. Custom approval routing waits on the quoted Premium card, so adding a manager means a new contract.

Purchase orders inside payables suit a company that already approves bills in BILL. Corporate lists the order, so the PO and the vendor bill share a record. The cheaper seats show purchasing as an add-on with no published dollar, so a Team quote can still be missing the order.

The order next to stock suits a product company that will not keep a second purchasing login. Odoo Purchase covers RFQs, blanket orders, and vendor bills from ordered or received quantities. Unleashed receipts the goods and recosts the item in US dollars, and it publishes no 3-way invoice match, so an office buyer who needs an approval policy should look elsewhere.

A quote, when the catalog or the ERP is the point, suits a team that will wait for paper. Procurify generates the PO from an approved request and prints payment fees rather than the subscription. Order.co matches goods orders and publishes no software price. NetSuite converts the request inside the Procurement add-on, which helps when that ERP is already the ledger. Coupa sends the PO by email, portal, cXML, or EDI and publishes no buyer list price.

Why the cheap card often cannot stop the order

The price on the first card is often the price of creating a PDF, not the price of stopping a bad buy. A team that signs the opening plan can still email the supplier before a manager has seen the lines. That gap is the maverick order, and it shows up as a bill finance cannot tie to a request.

Precoro's Core list includes the match and automated approvals, which is the control most finance teams think they bought. It does not include the live budget, punch-out catalogs, or the supplier portal. Those sit on Automation, which opens at $999/month on the same annual billing, so a punch-out demo is a second contract. User access on both cards is tier-based, and Precoro publishes no headcount beside the floor, so the opening price moves once the approvers are counted. Onboarding is typically 4 to 6 weeks, and cancellation needs 30 days' notice.

ProcurementExpress Basic is the QuickBooks card, and its capacity line is a monthly purchasing ceiling of $10,000. A month above that ceiling is a higher card. Better raises that ceiling to $1,000,000. Best raises it to $10,000,000 and is where the receipt match is listed, so a team that receives goods is shopping the top card. A second company is a Multi-Company pack on its own monthly or annual line.

Tradogram keeps accounting integrations, punch-out, and API access as unpriced add-ons on every plan, so the Essentials number is short if QuickBooks has to see the order. Premium, where custom approvals are marked included, is a quote from 20 users. A team that needs a manager on the route cannot add that control to the opening card. BILL's Corporate seat is the first published plan that lists purchase orders in the plan body. A shop that needs the PO to sync into NetSuite is on the custom Enterprise row, and that footnote says the match varies by accounting software.

Odoo will not stay on the promotional rate. The US footnote limits the discount to 12 months and to the initial users ordered, so year two sits on the higher rate. A supplier on the portal is not a paying user. An employee who creates the order in the backend is, and that is the seat to budget. Quote-only products can still be the right system: Procurify, Order.co, NetSuite, and Coupa publish no buyer software price. A card program that never creates an order belongs on the spend management platforms list.

Key Features to Look For

  • An approval that can stop the send (Essential)

Precoro lists automated approvals on Core, so the opening contract can hold the email. Tradogram marks custom approval routing as included on Premium and Scale. If the cheap card cannot hold the email, you bought a template.

  • A receipt on the same number as the bill (Essential)

Precoro lists 2-way and 3-way match on Core. ProcurementExpress lists Scan & Match on Best, so receiving is a higher card. BILL lists 2-way matching on Corporate and puts 3-way matching on the custom Enterprise row. Buy the plan that compares the documents you actually have.

  • A budget check before the supplier is emailed (Essential)

Precoro lists real-time budget tracking on Automation, so Core can match a bill after the goods have shipped. ProcurementExpress puts the remaining capacity on the purchase order itself. A match after the invoice arrives does not stop the order.

  • The ledger named on the card you will sign (Important)

Precoro Core names QuickBooks Online and Xero. ProcurementExpress Basic names QuickBooks, and NetSuite appears on Enterprise, so a NetSuite shop is off the opening card. Unleashed includes Xero and QuickBooks Online. Tradogram sells ERP and accounting integrations as add-ons on every plan.

  • A user cap written next to the floor (Important)

Precoro says user management is tier-based and publishes no cap beside the opening price, so the floor is not the headcount. Unleashed includes 3 user licenses on Lite and Core and 5 on Pro, then sells more. Tradogram says an additional user fee applies and publishes no amount for it.

  • A payment table that is not the software price (Important)

Procurify's fee table, revised January 15, 2026, prices US ACH, checks, and wires and still withholds the purchasing subscription. BILL prints ACH and check fees beside the seat. Those payment cents sit on top of the PO license.

  • A supplier send you can name (Nice to have)

Coupa's intake page says purchase orders go out by email, portal, cXML, or EDI. Order.co says approved requests become POs sent by phone, email, or an ecommerce checkout. If the contract does not name the send, someone is still copying the PDF.

  • Stock math, when the order is a replenishment (Nice to have)

Unleashed receipting can recost an item after the goods arrive, which is how a stock PO sets item cost. Odoo can bill from received quantities. NetSuite can mix inventory, expense, and service lines on one order. Indirect office buys do not need that warehouse math.

What to settle before the demo

  1. If the order must match a receipt on a number you can budget, start with Precoro Core and ask which user tier applies. Move to Automation when the demo showed a live budget.

  2. If QuickBooks is staying and you can live inside a monthly purchasing ceiling, price ProcurementExpress Basic first. Price Best when receiving against the PO is the job.

  3. If a manager has to approve a Tradogram order by amount, skip Essentials. Premium is the quoted card that includes custom approvals, and it starts at 20 users.

  4. If bills already live in BILL, read Corporate before you buy a second PO tool. The Procurement add-on on the cheaper seats has no published price.

  5. If the ledger is already NetSuite, or the suite will be Coupa, leave with a written range for software and implementation. Neither publishes a buyer list price.

Evaluation Checklist

  • On Precoro, create one order on a Core quote and confirm the 3-way match is in that quote, then ask for the user tier in writing. Real-time budgets live on the Automation card.

  • On ProcurementExpress, place a test order above the Basic capacity of $10,000 in a month and see which card the workflow forces. Confirm the receipt match is absent unless the quote is Best.

  • On Tradogram, try to add a second approver on Essentials. If that control is a Premium quote, the opening card will not stop the send.

  • On BILL, export the plan matrix and mark whether purchase orders sit inside Corporate or on an add-on. If you sync NetSuite, ask whether 3-way match requires Enterprise.

  • On Odoo, with the US price list, install Purchase alone and then a second app. Confirm when the database leaves One App Free, and whether a second company forces Custom.

  • On Unleashed, receipt a purchase order and check that the item cost updates. Count users against the 3 included on Lite or Core before you assume the warehouse is covered.

  • On Procurify, Order.co, NetSuite, and Coupa, leave the first call with a written software figure, including implementation where the vendor charges it.

Demo

These purchase-order prices were read on vendor sites on September 24, 2026. Precoro says it accepts US dollars, so a US team can ask for a dollar invoice. Unleashed labels its US page in United States dollars, and Odoo figures are from the US price list. Procurify's fee table is labeled USD and dated January 15, 2026. Those lines are payment charges on top of an unpublished subscription. Tradogram and ProcurementExpress print a dollar sign and do not label it USD, so confirm the currency on the quote.

The wider purchasing list is procurement software. The ledger under a QuickBooks or Xero sync is QuickBooks vs Xero. NetSuite against another ERP quote is NetSuite vs Sage Intacct.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • ×

Signing Tradogram Essentials because it is the lowest printed PO card. Purchase orders and invoice matching are on that card. Custom approvals, requisitions, and goods receipt sit on Premium, a quote from 20 users.

  • ×

Treating ProcurementExpress Basic as a receipt-match system. Basic includes QuickBooks and the lowest capacity line. Scan & Match is listed on Best, so a receiving team that starts on Basic pays the upgrade with the first delivery.

  • ×

Buying Precoro Core after a punch-out or live-budget demo. Those items are on the Automation list. Core is the match, the approvals, and the QuickBooks or Xero sync.

  • ×

Assuming every BILL seat creates purchase orders. The comparison table puts them on Corporate and marks them as a Procurement add-on on Essentials and Team. The add-on has no published price.

  • ×

Copying Odoo's first-year US rate into year two. The footnote limits the discount to 12 months and to the initial users ordered. A second app also ends One App Free.

  • ×

Letting a vendor savings story stand in for your bypass rate. Order.co's homepage figures are Order.co's claims. Ask which locations produced them before they enter a business case.

Expert Tips

  • →

Ask Precoro which user tier matches the people who create or approve orders, not the whole directory. The opening Core price is the floor, and Enterprise is the column that says unlimited users.

  • →

Put ProcurementExpress capacity in the same cell as the subscription. Basic's ceiling is the smallest monthly purchasing line on the pricing page. A busier month is a higher card.

  • →

On Tradogram, price the accounting integration as its own line. It is an add-on on Essentials, Premium, and Scale, and Tradogram publishes no fee for it.

  • →

On BILL, write 'Corporate' on the order if the job is the purchase order. Team at $65 per user is the sync seat for QuickBooks Online and Xero, and procurement is still an add-on.

  • →

On Unleashed, license buyers and the warehouse against the included users first. Lite and Core include 3, and another login on those plans is $69 a month. The receipt is what recosts the item.

Red Flags to Watch For

  • !

A Precoro quote at the Core floor after a punch-out demo. Punch-outs, the supplier portal, and real-time budget tracking are on Automation, and both cards bill annually before the user tier is applied.

  • !

A ProcurementExpress Basic order for a team that receives goods against the PO. The receipt match is listed on Best. Basic is the QuickBooks card with the lowest monthly capacity.

  • !

A Tradogram Essentials signature when a manager must approve by amount. Custom approvals are marked included on Premium and Scale. Accounting integrations are an add-on on every plan, with no published price.

  • !

A BILL Essentials or Team order described as including purchase orders. The comparison table marks those rows as a Procurement add-on. Corporate is the published seat that lists them.

  • !

A Coupa pitch that prices the supplier portal subscription as the buyer license. Coupa does not charge supplier fees to send the PO, and the buyer suite is still a demo with no list price.

  • !

An Odoo first-year rate copied into a three-year model. The US footnote limits the discount to 12 months and to the initial users ordered.

The Bottom Line

Precoro is the purchase order default when the order, the receipt, and the bill have to match and finance needs a public floor. Core is that floor, billed annually, and Automation is the card if the demo showed punch-out or a live budget. Skip Core when you need to leave inside a month.

ProcurementExpress is the QuickBooks path with a printed monthly card and a hard capacity line, and the receipt match waits for Best. Tradogram Essentials is the low send-a-PO card, and it is the wrong signature if a manager must approve by amount. BILL Corporate is the payables seat that actually lists purchase orders.

Odoo fits when one app can hold the purchase, and the US renewal is higher than the first-year rate. Unleashed fits when the PO is a stock receipt priced in US dollars. Procurify, Order.co, NetSuite, and Coupa belong on the shortlist when you will buy from a quote. A source-to-pay shortlist that is not centered on the order document is procurement software.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best purchase order software in 2026?

Precoro, when the purchase order, the receipt, and the supplier bill have to match and you need a price you can read before the call. Core lists that match and is billed annually. The opening figure is a floor, and user access is tier-based, so the people who touch the order can move it.

ProcurementExpress Basic is the pick when QuickBooks stays and a 14-day trial matters, with the receipt match on a higher card. Tradogram Essentials is the pick when you only need to send the PO. BILL Corporate is the pick when the order should sit on the payables seat. Coupa and NetSuite are the picks when you will sign a suite or you already run that ERP, and neither publishes a buyer list price as of September 24, 2026.

How much does purchase order software cost in 2026?

Precoro Core is listed from $499/month and Automation from $999/month, both billed annually, and Precoro accepts US dollars. Budget Automation if the demo included a live budget or punch-out. ProcurementExpress prints three monthly cards in the comparison table, from Basic through Best, and the right one follows the purchasing ceiling.

Tradogram's annual Essentials bill is $950.40. BILL Corporate is $89 per user per month. Odoo Standard on the US list shows $24.90 per user per month beside a US$31.10 list rate, with the discount limited to 12 months. Unleashed Core is $399/month in USD. Procurify, Order.co, NetSuite, and Coupa publish no buyer software price. Procurify's US ACH fee is $0.50, a payment charge on top of the missing license.

Is there a free purchase order tool in 2026?

Odoo One App Free is $0 for one app and unlimited users on Odoo Online, so Purchase can be that app until you install another one. A second app moves the database to Standard. Suppliers on the portal do not consume a paid user.

ProcurementExpress and Unleashed publish a 14-day trial, not a free buyer plan. Precoro's lowest card is Core, and it is paid. BILL Spend & Expense is $0 per user per month for cards and budgets, and the purchase order stays on a different module. Tradogram's current pricing page does not list a free plan.

How does Precoro compare with ProcurementExpress for purchase orders?

Precoro Core lists 2-way and 3-way match on the opening package and bills annually. Real-time budgets and punch-outs sit on the higher card. The user cap is tier-based, and Precoro publishes no headcount beside the floor.

ProcurementExpress Basic is a monthly card with QuickBooks and a $10,000 purchasing capacity, plus a 14-day trial. The match feature, Scan & Match, is on Best, and a second organization is a $575 monthly pack. Pick Precoro when the match has to be on the first contract. Pick ProcurementExpress when the ledger is QuickBooks and the volume fits the capacity line. The broader list is procurement software.

Does Tradogram Essentials include purchase order approvals?

Essentials includes purchase orders, supplier management, and AP invoices with matching. That is a send-and-match tool for a team with no second approver. The comparison table marks custom approval routing, requisitions, and goods receipt as included on Premium and Scale.

Premium is a custom quote from 20 users, so a smaller team still has to clear that minimum. Accounting integrations are an add-on on every plan, including Essentials, and that fee is unpublished. The page ties annual Essentials to a 20% discount versus monthly billing and prints a dollar sign without labeling it USD.

Does BILL include purchase orders on every plan?

No. Corporate lists purchase requests, purchase orders, tolerance rules, 2-way matching, and unlimited purchase requesters. Essentials and Team show those rows as an add-on, and the add-on has no published price. Team itself is $65 per user per month, the sync seat, and it still leaves purchasing as that add-on.

Enterprise is custom and lists purchase-order sync plus automatic 2-way and 3-way matching, with a note that features vary by accounting software. A payor ACH is $0.59 and a mailed check is $1.99, separate from the seat. The payables category around this decision is accounts payable software for small business.

What is the difference between purchase order software and procurement software?

Purchase order software is the document: the request, the approval, the order sent to the supplier, the receipt, and the match to the invoice. Precoro, ProcurementExpress, and Tradogram are ranked here on that document.

Procurement software usually adds sourcing events, supplier scorecards, and contract repositories around it. Coupa and NetSuite can do both, and they publish no buyer list price. If the gap is a bid rather than the order itself, use the procurement software guide. If the gap is stock, start with inventory management.
