About AEVS
AEVS (Agent Event Verification Service) is an SDK that provides tamper-evident, cryptographically signed receipts for every tool call made by an AI agent. It sits between the agent and its tools, capturing tool name, inputs, output, timing, and errors for each invocation. Each record is then ECDSA-signed (P-256) and linked to the previous one, forming a verifiable hash chain. This service addresses the challenge of verifying AI agent actions, where a model's text output alone isn't sufficient proof of execution. AEVS provides an independent, portable proof of agent activity, making it valuable for auditing, compliance, and debugging. It offers flexible visibility settings for receipts, allowing users to control what data is exposed publicly or kept private, including a "proof_only" mode for sensitive data that should never be persisted.
