About Iterable MCP

Iterable is a cross channel marketing automation platform covering email, push, SMS, in app messages, and multi step journeys built on unified user profiles. Its open source MCP server exposes that platform to an assistant, so a marketer can interrogate campaign performance or draft a send in conversation instead of clicking through the console. The server covers the objects a lifecycle marketing team touches daily: user profiles and their event history, campaigns with their delivery and engagement metrics, message templates, lists and segments, journeys, and catalogs. Write tools go beyond reporting. An agent can create blast and triggered campaigns, create templates, and then schedule, activate, cancel, or archive a campaign. Event types across email, push, and SMS are addressable, so questions about sends, opens, clicks, and bounces resolve against the same underlying data the built in reports use, rather than a separate summary layer. Write access is not on by default. The server starts read only and writes are turned on deliberately, which is the correct shape for a tool capable of launching a send to a live audience. Treat that setting as the control point when deciding which people and which agents get the connection, and keep the read only configuration for anything doing analysis rather than execution.
