About JusTTY
JusTTY is a minimal, native macOS terminal emulator built with Swift and libghostty. It leverages Ghostty's Metal renderer for real PTY shells, providing a lightweight and performant terminal experience. Designed for everyday use, JusTTY avoids the complexity of advanced terminals, focusing on core functionality with a clean interface. The terminal supports multi-window and tabbed sessions, customizable color themes from the GhosttyTheme catalog, and full control over font family, size, weight, and line height. Users can configure window padding, starting position, and character-grid size. An in-app keyboard shortcuts sheet provides quick access to settings. JusTTY is open source under the MIT license and can be installed via Homebrew or downloaded manually from the GitHub releases. It requires macOS 15.6 or later. Note that releases are self-signed and not notarized, so users may need to bypass Gatekeeper on first launch.
