Zuora runs subscription billing and revenue for companies that charge on recurring, usage based, or hybrid models. Its MCP server puts tenant data and a set of operational actions behind a Model Context Protocol interface, so an AI assistant can answer questions about a specific account and carry out routine billing work without a person building a report or writing an API call first. Through the server an agent can look up customer accounts with their contacts and payment methods, inspect subscriptions along with their rate plans, charges, and term dates, and read invoices, payments, credit balances, and open amounts. The product catalog is reachable the same way, so an assistant can check which products, rate plans, and charge models exist before proposing a change. Beyond reading, the server surfaces operational tasks that the Zuora APIs already expose, such as previewing the billing effect of a subscription change or working an invoice and payment through its normal states, with the tenant's own validation rules applied to every call. Authentication uses Zuora OAuth credentials for the tenant, so each request runs under a defined role, stays inside that role's permissions, and lands in the platform audit log. It is built for revenue operations, billing support, and finance engineering teams that field account level questions all day, plus developers assembling agents on top of subscription data.
