Asana is the structured project management tool for teams that need goals, portfolios, and workflow automation, not just task boards.
The Personal plan (free, up to 15 members) is surprisingly capable for small teams. Starter at $10.99/user/mo (annual) adds timeline, workflow builder, and forms.
The steep jump to Advanced at $24.99/user/mo is where Asana extracts real revenue: goals, portfolios, custom rules, and advanced reporting are locked behind it. For teams that need OKR tracking, cross-project dependencies, and workload management, Asana is one of the best options, but the price reflects it.
