LogStitch

LogStitch is a native macOS application designed to simplify the process of viewing and analyzing AWS Lambda logs from CloudWatch. It addresses the common problem of interleaved log lines from concurrent Lambda invocations by re-grouping them by request ID, making each invocation's log stream legible and easy to follow. This tool is ideal for developers and operations teams working with serverless architectures on AWS, who need to quickly debug, monitor, and understand the behavior of their Lambda functions. Beyond basic log stitching, LogStitch provides advanced features for correlating requests across multiple functions, AWS accounts, and regions, offering a swim-lane timeline to visualize the entire request flow and identify propagation latency. It also includes built-in analytical capabilities for tracking performance trends, cold starts, memory usage, and cost projections, eliminating the need for separate dashboards. The application further assists in identifying issues by automatically clustering error patterns and detecting statistical anomalies in duration, errors, and cold starts.
