What is Monish?
Monish is an iPhone app that brings your AI agent workflows to your lock screen and Dynamic Island. It receives updates from agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, n8n, or cron via a single HTTPS endpoint, and renders them as live progress cards, notifications, or interactive questions. There is no SDK, MCP server, or computer-side installation. You simply install the free app, paste a one-line command into your agent, and your agent can start sending updates and waiting for your approval or reply.

Is Monish worth the price?
Great value
Monish offers a completely free tier with no usage limits beyond 300 messages per hour per key, no account, and no ads, which is exceptionally generous compared to most AI agent tools that charge subscription fees or per-message costs.
This makes it ideal for casual users or developers who want to test AI agent notifications without any financial commitment.

Monish FAQ
How does Monish connect to my AI agents?
Your agent calls a single HTTPS endpoint using curl, as described in the skill you paste. The endpoint includes a private key generated by the Monish app on your iPhone.
What happens to my data when a notification is sent?
Only what your agent sends is stored: a title, short text, a few numbers, and the agent name. The server keeps it for 48 hours so the app can catch up on missed notifications, then deletes it. Answers to questions are kept for 24 hours, and your history lives on your iPhone.
Can I use Monish with multiple agents at the same time?
Yes. The same key can be used across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, n8n, cron, or any agent that can execute a curl command. Each call is associated with the agent name you provide.
What happens if I don't respond to an approval request?
The question expires after the time your agent chose, one hour by default, and your agent treats it as a denial.
Can I set up another iPhone with the same agent notifications?
No. Each iPhone gets its own private key and its own line to paste. A second iPhone needs its own key and setup.
Does Monish work in the Dynamic Island on all iPhone models?
Monish renders cards natively in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones, and falls back to the lock screen and standard notifications on other models.
Is there a limit on how many notifications Monish can send?
Each key can send up to 300 messages per hour, which is far more than an agent following the skill would typically need.
What does the agent need to know to send a specific type of card?
Your agent picks the template, title, fields, and up to two buttons based on your plain-language instructions. You can ask it to ping you only if blocked, send a morning summary, or ask before deploying, sending, or spending.
