Is Onfleet worth the price?

70/100

Onfleet's pricing is on the higher end of the market, particularly for the 'LAUNCH' tier at $599/month for 2,500 tasks.

While features are robust, the cost per task can be significant for smaller operations. The 'SCALE' and 'ENTERPRISE' tiers offer better value for larger businesses with more complex needs and higher task volumes.

Hidden Costs & Gotchas

Potential overage fees if task limits are exceeded.

Higher costs for custom integrations beyond ready-to-use.

Premium support and onboarding only in Enterprise.

API access for advanced optimization in Scale.

How Onfleet Compares to Competitors

Compared to competitors like Tookan, which offers plans starting around $49/month for basic features, Onfleet's 'LAUNCH' tier at $599/month is substantially more expensive. While Onfleet provides more advanced features and scalability, smaller businesses might find Tookan or similar platforms more budget-friendly for core delivery management.

How Onfleet's pricing compares

Onfleet FAQ

What constitutes a 'task' for billing purposes?

A task is the core unit of work, representing either a pickup or a delivery performed at a destination. For billing, tasks are only counted once they reach a 'Completed' status, which can be achieved via the Onfleet driver app, driver app SDK, dispatcher dashboard, or an API call.

How does the free trial work and what are its limitations?

The free trial provides unrestricted access to your chosen plan for 14 days. You can select a plan and begin your subscription at any point during or after the trial. A credit card is not charged until a plan is selected and the subscription is confirmed in the dashboard.

Can I adjust my subscription plan after signing up?

Yes, you have the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan directly from within your dashboard at any time.

How are SMS messaging and voice calls billed?

SMS and voice telephony usage is billed on the 1st of the month following the usage. Charges are applied to the credit card on file based on specific rates, with SMS charged per segment. Telephony services are optional and include features like status-triggered SMS and anonymized communication between drivers, dispatchers, and recipients.

What payment methods are accepted for Onfleet subscriptions?

Onfleet accepts Visa, Mastercard, or American Express for monthly or yearly plan subscriptions via Stripe. Additional payment methods are available for yearly Professional and Enterprise plans; contact sales for more details.
