What is Ritemark?

Ritemark is a free, open-source (MIT) desktop writing app for macOS and Windows. You write in plain Markdown files in a folder on your computer, with a visual editor, and the AI you already use (Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode) works in the same files: you ask in plain words and it writes, edits and creates documents in place. Each window is one folder with its own conversations, instructions, agents and skills. Export to Word, PDF and Google Docs.
