What is Vivere?

Vivere tells you when a scheduled job stops running, including runs that never start. Each job gets a URL to call when it finishes. It also runs HTTP uptime checks, keeps each run's duration, exit code and output, publishes status pages, and has a JSON API and an MCP server for AI agents.

Is Vivere worth the price?

Good value

Vivere's pricing is very generous for small teams and solo developers.

The Free tier offers 25 monitors with 5-minute checks, which is competitive for basic needs. The Pro tier at $5/month (or $49/year) is a steal for 100 monitors and 1-minute intervals, though the price will rise to $9/month later.

The Team tier at $29/month for 500 monitors is also affordable compared to many alternatives. Best for developers who need simple, reliable cron job monitoring without per-seat fees.

Vivere FAQ

How does Vivere help teams that rely on scheduled jobs?

Vivere monitors scheduled jobs by providing a unique URL that each job must call upon completion. If the call does not arrive within the configured grace period, Vivere sends an alert via email or webhook (and on Pro via Slack, Discord, Telegram, or ntfy). This ensures teams know immediately when a job fails to run or never starts.

How does Vivere compare to Healthchecks.io for job monitoring?

Like Healthchecks.io, Vivere uses a heartbeat URL approach to detect missed jobs and supports email and webhook alerts. Vivere additionally offers HTTP uptime checks, status pages, a JSON API, and an MCP server for AI agents, while Healthchecks.io focuses primarily on cron job monitoring.

What types of monitoring does Vivere not cover?

Vivere specializes in monitoring scheduled jobs and HTTP uptime checks, and it does not provide full infrastructure monitoring such as server metrics, database performance, or network health. Teams needing comprehensive infrastructure observability would need to pair Vivere with a dedicated monitoring solution.

What kind of user benefits most from Vivere's approach?

Teams that rely on scheduled jobs, such as data pipelines, batch processing, or cron tasks, benefit most from Vivere. It is also useful for developers and operations staff who need simple uptime monitoring and status pages without complex setup.

How is Vivere priced?

Vivere offers a free tier with basic usage limits, and paid plans provide higher usage quotas and additional features such as Slack, Discord, Telegram, and ntfy alert integrations. The pricing model is usage-based, scaling with the number of jobs and checks.

How does Vivere detect when a scheduled job never starts?

Each job in Vivere is assigned a unique URL that the job must call upon completion. If the call does not arrive within the job's grace period, Vivere triggers an alert. This mechanism catches both jobs that fail to start and jobs that start but never finish.

Can Vivere monitor HTTP endpoints in addition to jobs?

Yes, Vivere includes HTTP uptime checks that periodically verify the availability of web endpoints. These checks are separate from job monitoring and can be used to ensure websites or APIs are reachable.

Which messaging platforms does Vivere support for alerts on the Pro plan?

On the Pro plan, Vivere can send alerts to Slack, Discord, Telegram, and ntfy in addition to email and webhook notifications. This allows teams to integrate alerts into their preferred communication channels.

How does Vivere pricing compare with other Status Pages tools?

Vivere's entry paid plan ($5/mo, billed monthly) ranks #2 of 13 for price among the Status Pages tools with a verified entry price and no stated unit, where the median is $12/mo. Prices are read on each vendor's own pricing page and compared only with tools priced on the same basis. Source: Toolradar, Nov 2026.
