About Mayday
Mayday was an AI-powered calendar and scheduling assistant for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS that combined calendar management, task scheduling, and smart availability sharing. Built with SwiftUI, it used AI algorithms to auto-schedule meetings and tasks at optimal times based on user preferences and productivity patterns. Features included smart tags, buffer time between events, FYI calendar mirroring, and scheduling links with customizable constraints. Mayday was acquired by Apple in April 2024 and officially sunset on May 1, 2024. The acquisition is expected to bring AI scheduling capabilities to Apple's native Calendar app in future iOS releases.
