Attyn

Attyn is a desktop application that embeds AI capabilities directly into the cursor, eliminating the need to switch tabs or copy-paste between AI tools and your work. It offers four primary modes: Inline Assist for rewriting text in place, Realtime Dictation for speech-to-text, Screen Assist for asking questions about on-screen content, and Blackboard for learning with diagrams and explanations. The app works in any text field across applications like Gmail, Slack, Notion, and more, without requiring integrations. Attyn separates the application layer from the intelligence layer, allowing users to choose their preferred AI model, whether by bringing their own provider key, using Attyn Credits for cloud models, or running supported local models on their device. This design ensures that users are not locked into a single AI provider and can adapt as models evolve. The app stores profile context and files locally, with cloud processing only occurring when a cloud model is selected.
