Khanmigo

Khanmigo is an AI-powered personal tutor and teaching assistant developed by the non-profit Khan Academy. For learners and families, it provides engaging, on-topic, and effective learning experiences, guiding students to discover answers themselves rather than simply providing them. It supports learning across various subjects like math, humanities, coding, and essay writing, leveraging Khan Academy's extensive content library. Parents can use it to help children with homework, with the option to add up to 10 children to a subscription. For teachers, Khanmigo acts as an AI assistant to streamline workflows and reduce administrative tasks. It helps with differentiation, lesson planning, generating quiz questions, student groupings, creating hooks, exit tickets, and rubrics. It integrates with Khan Academy's content and provides summaries of student work to assess progress. Khanmigo is designed with privacy and security in mind, ensuring student data protection. Classroom access for students is currently available only through school or district implementations, not directly by individual teachers.
