ScyllaDB MCP

ScyllaDB's MCP server lets an AI client talk to ScyllaDB Cloud, the managed service for the wide-column database built for low latency at high throughput. It gives an agent the account view a developer normally gets from the console: which clusters exist, how they are sized and distributed, their status and endpoints, and the configuration details needed to connect an application to them. The more useful half is data access. With the server connected, an agent can run CQL against a cluster, which turns natural language questions into schema exploration and query results: list the keyspaces and tables, read a partition, check how a table is partitioned and clustered, and confirm that a query pattern actually matches the primary key it was designed for. That last point is where ScyllaDB projects usually go wrong, since a query that would be fine on a relational database can turn into a full scan here. Authentication goes through ScyllaDB Cloud account credentials, and the agent inherits whatever that account can reach, so scoping matters before pointing it at production data. It is aimed at developers and data engineers building on ScyllaDB who want help with data modeling decisions, faster ad hoc inspection while debugging, and a way to keep cluster operations inside the same assistant session as their application code.
