Unlike native push services (FCM/APNs) that offer "best effort" delivery, Catapush utilizes a proprietary real-time background channel (XMPP protocol) to ensure message delivery even under critical network conditions, with detailed status reporting. The platform enables organizations, especially banks, to significantly reduce SMS costs while enhancing communication reliability and customer experience. It offers features like real-time delivery tracking, message store-and-forward mechanisms, end-to-end encryption, and full GDPR compliance. Catapush also includes an optional SMS fallback mechanism to ensure messages reach users even without data connectivity, automatically resending as an SMS if a push notification is not received within a defined timeframe. It scales from individual messages to billions of events, maintaining 99.9% uptime and adhering to high financial industry regulatory standards.
