Note: AWS will discontinue Amazon Lookout for Vision on October 31, 2025. After this date, users cannot access the console or create new models. AWS recommends migrating to Amazon SageMaker or Amazon Bedrock as alternatives.
The service trains custom ML models using as few as 30 images, detecting defects like scratches, dents, incorrect colors, and missing components. Models can run in the cloud or at the edge for real-time inspection. Each inference unit supports up to 5 transactions per second for production line integration.
