What is Roiva?
Roiva is AI portfolio management software that tracks every AI initiative's budget, approvals, cost and ROI. It reads AI cost from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and from QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Brex and Ramp, and books it to the initiative it belongs to. Value comes from systems such as HubSpot and Salesforce, and is reported as cash and as freed capacity, never added together. Each call to scale, fix or cut an initiative is recorded with the figures behind it.

Roiva FAQ
Is Roiva free?
Yes. The free account needs no card and doesn't expire. It measures 5 initiatives at a time with unlimited ideas, 3 integrations and 10 seats, and includes approvals, the audit log, the full ROI report and MCP access. Paid plans start at $7,500 a year, priced by the yearly AI spend you track: roiva.ai/pricing
What are the best Roiva alternatives?
It depends on the question you need answered. Larridin measures how much AI people and agents use and the work it contributes. IBM Apptio AI Value & ROI tracks initiative results against baselines for Apptio customers. Vantage and CloudZero split cloud and AI bills for FinOps teams. Zylo manages SaaS licenses and spend. Roiva tracks each AI initiative's approved budget, cost, cash return and freed capacity, and what was decided about it. A comparison with prices: roiva.ai/field-notes/ai-roi-tools-compared
How is Roiva different from FinOps tools like Vantage or CloudZero?
FinOps tools show what cloud and AI services cost and split the bill across teams. Roiva starts from the AI initiative: its approved budget, the cost booked to it from AI providers, accounting and cards, and the value it returned. It reads some of the same AI bills, but what it produces is a return per initiative, not a cost report.
Can Roiva split Claude spend by initiative?
Yes. For the Claude API, Roiva reads Anthropic's cost report every night and books each Claude Console workspace's spend to the initiative that ran it, so give each initiative its own workspace. For Claude Enterprise, it books cost by user group, or estimates each chat Project's share from the messages sent in it, since Anthropic doesn't report cost by Project. How does Roiva measure Microsoft 365 Copilot ROI?
It counts who used Copilot each month against the licenses you pay for, and values only the tasks your own time study timed, not Microsoft's assisted-hours estimate. Hours freed are reported as freed capacity, beside cash ROI and never in it.
How does Roiva count value?
As two figures that are never added: cash value, which shows in the books, and freed capacity, hours freed priced at what they cost. ROI uses cash only. A figure counts once a person approves it, or the account's auto-approve setting does, and each one traces to a versioned formula, a synced record or a named person's entry.
Can Roiva track OpenAI API spend by project?
Yes. Roiva reads OpenAI's cost report by project and by API key, so an initiative can claim one project's cost whole, or one key's. Give each AI initiative its own OpenAI project, or its own key, to keep its spend separate.
Is Roiva SOC 2 compliant?
Not yet. Roiva's SOC 2 Type 2 examination covers the Security criteria, and its three-month observation period started October 21, 2026; the report follows the end of that period. Until then, Roiva shares its penetration test letter, a security questionnaire and its sub-processor list on request: roiva.ai/security
Who is Roiva best for?
AI and finance leaders at companies of 200 to 10,000 employees who run several AI initiatives and need each one's cost and return to hold up with the CFO. It isn't built for per-request LLM tracing or cloud cost tuning.
