WooCommerce MCP

WooCommerce MCP is a Model Context Protocol server for WooCommerce, the open source ecommerce plugin that turns a WordPress site into a store. It puts the WooCommerce REST API behind MCP tools so an agent can inspect and operate a storefront directly. WooCommerce exposes an MCP endpoint on the site itself through a plugin, and community servers connect over the same REST API using a consumer key and secret, so a store can be reached either from inside WordPress or from an external process. The object model is the store's own. Products cover the catalog, including variations, categories, tags, attributes, and stock levels, so an agent can audit inventory, correct descriptions in bulk, or create listings. Orders cover the transactional side, with the ability to search by status or customer, read line items and totals, update fulfillment status, and issue refunds. Around those sit customers, coupons, shipping zones and methods, tax rates, webhooks, store settings, and the built-in sales reports, which is what makes questions about revenue by period or best-selling products answerable without exporting anything. It suits store owners and the agencies who maintain their sites, especially for recurring work such as catalog cleanup, promotion changes, and order triage. Data stays in the connected store because the server only brokers API calls, and the permissions on the API credentials decide whether an agent can look or also change things.
