Best Free Landing Page Builders in 2026

TL;DR

Short answer: HubSpot is the best free landing page builder in 2026 for volume, publishing up to 30 pages free with HubSpot branding, Starter from $7/mo to remove it. Mailchimp is the pick for a solo list-builder, bundling a landing page into a free 250-contact email plan. Carrd is the fastest way to a single page live today, capped at 3 free sites with no custom domain. Systeme.io is the pick for a full funnel: 3 funnels, unlimited pages inside them, and email, all free. None of the category's three paid specialists, Unbounce, Leadpages, and Landingi, offers a plan that stays free past a trial.

Ten builders ranked by what their free plan actually publishes, not the marketing page, with prices checked on vendor pages in September 2026.

69 Landing Pages tools tracked

Type "free landing page builder" into a search bar and most of the results that rank are marketing pages for tools whose free tier is actually a 7 to 14 day trial. Unbounce starts its "Starter" tier at $22 a month after a 14 day trial. Leadpages drops the trial to 7 days before its cheapest HTML Pub Starter plan kicks in around $10 a month billed yearly. Landingi gives 14 days and 200 visits, then $24 a month for the Build plan. All three are real category leaders. None of them has a forever-free plan.

This guide only ranks builders with a permanent, no-card, no-clock free tier, and scores each one by what that tier actually lets a reader publish: how many pages, whether a custom domain is possible, and what carries the vendor's own branding forever. HubSpot tops the list because its free Content Hub plan publishes up to 30 real landing pages, more than any other tool here gives away, though every one of them keeps a HubSpot badge until you pay for Starter.

Toolradar data: of the 69 landing page tools we track, 64% offer a free or freemium plan and 36% are paid only, so most of this category gives a builder something to try before paying a cent, even if that something is thinner than the free-plan badge suggests.

Disclosure: Dupple's own newsletters run on beehiiv, not on any of the email-bundled tools ranked here, including Mailchimp, MailerLite, and Systeme.io.

How we chose: these 10 picks were checked against the 69 tools in the landing pages category for what their free plan publishes, verified on each vendor's own pricing page in September 2026. None of these placements is paid. A ranking that includes the paid specialists too is best landing page builders, and the AI-first angle is covered in best AI landing page builders.

HubSpot logo

HubSpot

Top Pick

Marketers who want real page volume free and can live with HubSpot branding until they upgrade.

HubSpot screenshot
+The free Content Hub plan allows up to 30 total landing pages, free for up to 2 users, with no credit card required to start.
+The free CRM, forms, and live chat sit under the same account, so a free landing page can plug into free lead capture without a second tool.
+Starter, the cheapest paid step, removes HubSpot branding while keeping the same 30-page cap.
−Every free-tier page carries HubSpot branding until you pay for Starter, a visible signal to visitors that the page was not paid for.
−The free plan has no custom domain option; pages publish on a HubSpot-hosted address until a paid tier is added.
Fair value

HubSpot's pricing is the most complex in SaaS, 7 Hubs, 4 tiers each, per-seat AND per-contact charges, plus mandatory onboarding fees.

Watch out

Marketing contacts vs non-marketing contacts: HubSpot only charges for 'marketing contacts' (those you email, use in ads, or include in workflows). But the distinction is confusing, and accidentally including contacts in a marketing email converts them to paid marketing contacts with no undo

2
Mailchimp logo

Mailchimp

Solo marketers who want a page and an email list under the same free account.

Mailchimp screenshot
+Landing pages are included on every plan, including Free, which allows up to 250 contacts and 500 email sends a month.
+The page and the contact list share one dashboard, so a lead who signs up on the page is already in the list.
+Essentials, the cheapest paid step, lifts the contact ceiling while keeping the same landing page feature.
−The free plan's landing page inherits the account's 250-contact cap, so a page that converts well outgrows the free tier fast.
−No custom domain is included free; the page publishes to a Mailchimp-hosted address only.
Fair value

Mailchimp was once the default email marketing tool for small businesses, and its free tier was legendary.

Watch out

ALL contacts count: subscribed, unsubscribed, non-subscribed, and 'cleaned' contacts all count toward your plan limit. You pay for contacts who unsubscribed last year unless you manually archive them. This inflates costs by 20-40% for most lists

3
Carrd logo

Carrd

  • 4.5 on G2 (34 reviews)
  • 4.6 on Capterra (28 reviews)

Anyone who wants the fastest path to one live page and does not need a contact list bundled in.

+The free plan allows up to 3 sites, enough to test more than one page idea without paying anything.
+Pro Lite removes on-page branding at the cheapest yearly price of any tool on this list.
+The editor is built around single pages, so there is no wasted setup time for a reader who only needs one.
−No plan, free or Pro Lite, includes a custom domain; that requires Pro Standard at $19 a year instead.
−There is no built-in email marketing or CRM, so lead capture needs a separate free tool like Mailchimp bolted on.
Great value

Carrd's pricing is incredibly generous, especially for the entry-level Pro tiers.

4
Systeme.io logo

Systeme.io

Course creators and coaches who want a full free funnel, not just a landing page.

Systeme.io screenshot
+The free plan includes 3 sales funnels with unlimited pages inside them, up to 2,000 contacts, and email sending, all under one account.
+The free plan includes 1 custom domain, the only tool on this list that offers one free.
+Startup, the cheapest paid step, removes the funnel cap while keeping the same page-building tools.
−Systeme.io branding appears on free-plan pages and emails until you upgrade.
−The page editor is built for funnels and courses, so a single standalone brand page is a heavier setup than Carrd's.
Good value

Every plan includes unlimited email sends and 0% platform transaction fees.

Watch out

0% systeme.io transaction fee. Stripe or PayPal still charge their own rates.

5
Webflow logo

Webflow

Designers who want pixel control on a live page and can accept a 2-page free ceiling.

+The free Starter plan publishes to a live webflow.io address with 1 GB of bandwidth and 50 form submissions, no card required.
+Design control is closer to hand-coded HTML than any drag-and-drop competitor on this list, a real advantage for a designer-led page.
+Basic, billed yearly, adds a custom domain and lifts the page cap to 300 static pages.
−The free plan caps out at 2 static pages, the thinnest page count on this list next to Carrd's 3 sites.
−No custom domain is included free; every free page stays on the webflow.io subdomain until Basic.
Fair value

Webflow charges separately for Workspace plans (per-seat, for team collaboration) and Site plans (per-site, for hosting).

Watch out

The Starter (free) site plan limits you to 2 pages, 50 CMS items, and a webflow.io subdomain. It is a sandbox, not a production environment.

6
Framer logo

Framer

  • 4.5 on G2 (145 reviews)
  • 4.3 on Capterra (32 reviews)

Designers who want a fast, AI-generated first draft before committing to a paid custom domain.

+The free plan includes 500 AI credits to try and 1 GB of bandwidth on a free Framer domain.
+The visual editor produces design-led pages closer to a professional portfolio than a generic template.
+Basic, the cheapest paid step, adds a custom domain, 30 pages, and 50 GB of bandwidth once the free plan's scope is outgrown.
−The free plan is explicitly scoped for exploration, not a real campaign; no custom domain is available at that tier.
−1 GB of bandwidth is the tightest ceiling on this list for anything beyond a light, text-first page.
Good value

Framer's pricing is quite generous, especially with its robust Free tier and the accessible Basic tier at $10/month for custom domains.

7
MailerLite logo

MailerLite

Readers who want a page and email list free but expect to outgrow the 250-subscriber cap soon.

+The free plan includes 1 landing page combined with a website, alongside up to 250 subscribers.
+Comfort, the cheapest paid step, adds 10 websites and landing pages plus 3 user seats.
+The free plan's email sending and page builder share one editor, so no second tool is needed to capture a lead.
−The free tier allows only 1 landing page total, thinner than Mailchimp's equivalent free allowance.
−No custom domain is included on the free plan; the page publishes to a MailerLite-hosted address.
Great value

Mailerlite's pricing is very fair and generous, especially with its robust free tier.

8
Wix logo

Wix

Readers who want the widest design choice free and do not mind Wix branding staying visible.

+The free plan includes Wix's full drag-and-drop editor and thousands of templates, no credit card required.
+Hosting is included free, so a page goes live immediately without a separate hosting step.
+Paid plans add a free domain for the first year plus storage and marketing tools once the free tier's branding becomes a problem.
−Wix branding and a wixsite.com address stay on the page for as long as the account is free, with no way to remove either without upgrading.
−No custom domain is included on the free plan at any level.
Good value

Wix is a solid all-in-one website builder at reasonable prices, but costs add up fast once you factor in payment processing, apps, and the steep jump to Business Elite.

Watch out

Light plan cannot accept any payments, Core minimum for ecommerce

9
Weebly logo

Weebly

  • 4.2 on G2 (482 reviews)

Readers who want a no-frills free page and already use Square for payments.

+The free plan includes Weebly's full drag-and-drop editor and templates, no coding needed to get a page live today.
+Square's payment tools integrate directly once a reader upgrades, useful for a page selling a physical or service product.
+Personal, the cheapest paid step billed annually, adds a custom domain.
−Square ads remain on every free-plan page; there is no way to remove them without upgrading to Personal or higher.
−No custom domain is included free, and the editor feels dated next to Framer or Webflow's design tools.
Good value

Weebly's pricing is fair for beginners, especially with the robust free tier.

Watch out

Domain registration not included in Free plan

10
Tilda logo

Tilda

  • 4.5 on G2 (76 reviews)

Designers who want strong typography and block layouts on one free page.

+The free plan allows 1 full website built from Tilda's design-forward block library, no card required.
+Personal, the cheapest paid step, adds a custom domain and full access to every block in the library.
+The block editor produces a more designed look out of the box than a typical drag-and-drop free tier.
−A "Made on Tilda" label displays on every free page and stays even on monthly paid plans; only an annual Personal or Business plan removes it.
−The free plan is limited to 1 website, thinner than HubSpot's 30 pages or Systeme.io's 3 funnels.
Good value

Tilda's pricing is quite fair, especially for individuals and small businesses.

Watch out

Storage limits could be restrictive for media-heavy sites.

What a free landing page builder actually gives you

A free landing page builder is a tool that publishes a real, working page to a live web address without asking for a card. The category splits on two questions: how many pages that free plan allows, and whose name sits on the page while it stays unpaid.

HubSpot and Mailchimp answer the volume question generously: 30 pages on HubSpot's free Content Hub plan, and a landing page bundled into Mailchimp's free 250-contact marketing plan. Carrd, Systeme.io, Webflow, and Framer cap the free tier lower, between 2 and 3 sites or pages, but each hands over more design control in exchange. Wix, Weebly, and Tilda sit closer to general website builders than landing-page specialists, publishing a free page on the vendor's own subdomain with the vendor's branding attached for as long as the account stays free.

A reader testing an idea before it needs a real domain is well served by any of these ten. A reader who needs the vendor's name off the page this week should budget for the cheapest paid step before starting, since every free tier here keeps some form of branding or subdomain until you upgrade.

Why the free tier's page count decides more than its price

Every landing page tool markets its templates, its AI, and its conversion features. Almost none leads with the number that matters most to a reader with $0 to spend: how many pages the free plan actually lets them publish before a paywall appears.

That number swings hard across this list. HubSpot's free Content Hub plan allows up to 30 total landing pages, the most generous cap here, with HubSpot branding attached until a paid Starter tier removes it. Carrd's free plan allows 3 sites total, with no custom domain option at any free or entry-paid tier below Pro Standard. Framer's free plan is scoped for "exploration" rather than a real launch: 1 GB of bandwidth and a Framer subdomain, no custom domain until the paid Basic tier.

The second gap is what free actually publishes versus what it only builds. Webflow's free Starter plan caps out at 2 static pages and 1 GB of bandwidth, real numbers for a real live page, but thin next to HubSpot's 30. Mailchimp and MailerLite fold a landing page into their free email plans instead of selling it standalone: Mailchimp's free plan includes a landing page inside its 250-contact, 500-send ceiling, and MailerLite's free plan bundles one landing page with its website builder under a shared 250-subscriber cap. Reading the free tier as a page count, not a marketing claim, is the whole point of this ranking.

Key Features to Look For

  • A real page count on the free plan (Essential)

HubSpot publishes up to 30 landing pages free, Webflow's Starter plan caps at 2 static pages, and Carrd caps at 3 sites total. The gap between 30 and 2 matters more than any other spec on this list.

  • Whether a custom domain is possible on the free plan (Essential)

None of the ten free plans here includes a custom domain. Systeme.io is the closest exception: its free plan includes 1 custom domain slot, while Carrd, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Framer, Wix, Webflow, MailerLite, Weebly, and Tilda all keep the free page on the vendor's own subdomain.

  • Branding that stays on the page (Essential)

HubSpot branding stays on every free Content Hub page until you pay for Starter. Wix keeps Wix branding on free sites indefinitely, and Tilda displays a "Made on Tilda" label unless you pay for Personal on an annual plan. Carrd removes branding at its cheapest paid tier without needing a custom domain.

  • A bandwidth or traffic ceiling you can predict (Important)

Webflow's free Starter plan includes 1 GB of bandwidth and 50 form submissions, and Framer's free plan includes 1 GB of bandwidth and 500 AI credits to try. Neither publishes a visitor count directly, so bandwidth is the proxy that decides when a free page needs to upgrade.

  • Whether the free plan is a marketing tool or a builder (Important)

Mailchimp and MailerLite treat a landing page as one feature inside a free email plan, capped at 250 contacts and 250 subscribers respectively. Carrd, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Weebly, and Tilda sell the page itself, with no contact list attached.

  • A funnel, not just a page, on the free plan (Nice to have)

Systeme.io is the only tool here whose free plan includes a full sales funnel: 3 funnels, unlimited pages inside them, up to 2,000 contacts, and email sending, all under one free account with Systeme.io branding.

  • No expiration date on the free plan (Important)

Every one of these ten has a genuine, ongoing free tier verified on the vendor's own pricing page in September 2026, unlike Unbounce, Leadpages, and Landingi, whose free offers are 7 to 14 day trials that convert to a paid plan.

What to check before you build on a free landing page plan

  1. Count how many pages the free plan actually allows before you start: HubSpot's 30 pages covers a real small campaign, while Carrd's 3 sites or Webflow's 2 pages fit a single offer, not a test matrix.

  2. Decide if vendor branding on a live page is a dealbreaker. HubSpot, Wix, and Tilda all keep it on the free tier; Carrd removes it at its cheapest paid tier without adding a custom domain.

  3. If the eventual build needs email capture and a contact list, Mailchimp and MailerLite fold that in free up to 250 contacts; a standalone builder like Carrd or Framer will need a separate email tool bolted on.

  4. Read a free plan's traffic language literally: Webflow and Framer cap bandwidth, not visitors, so a page with heavy images burns the free ceiling faster than a text-only offer would.

  5. If the project is closer to a full sales funnel with upsells and order bumps than a single page, Systeme.io's free 3-funnel plan is the only one on this list built for that shape.

  6. Check whether the page needs to sit on your own domain from day one. Only Systeme.io includes a custom domain free; every other pick here means launching on the vendor's subdomain first.

Evaluation Checklist

  • Confirm on the vendor's own pricing page how many pages the free plan actually allows before building a real campaign on it.

  • Check whether a custom domain is possible on the free plan at all; on this list, only Systeme.io includes one free.

  • If the project needs email capture built in, price Mailchimp or MailerLite's free plan against Carrd or Framer plus a separate free email tool.

  • Read the free plan's traffic language as bandwidth, not visitors, on Webflow and Framer, since a heavy page burns that ceiling faster than a light one.

  • Decide whether vendor branding on a live page for launch week is acceptable, or whether the first purchase should be the branding-removal tier, not a feature upgrade.

  • If the eventual project is a full sales funnel with upsells, compare Systeme.io's free 3-funnel plan against paying for a specialist tool from day one.

Pricing Overview

Generous free page count, vendor branding stays

HubSpot publishes up to 30 landing pages free with HubSpot branding attached, while Wix keeps Wix branding on its free pages and Tilda caps its free plan at 1 website carrying a permanent label, neither removable without paying.

No charge

Thin free page count, more design control

Carrd, Webflow, and Framer cap the free plan at 2 to 3 pages or sites but hand over pixel-level or code-level control that HubSpot and Wix do not offer free.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • ×

Building a real campaign on Framer's free plan, then discovering it is scoped for exploration with no custom domain option at that tier.

  • ×

Assuming Wix or Weebly's free plan will look professional at launch, then finding Wix branding or Square ads cannot be removed without paying.

  • ×

Picking a landing-page specialist like Unbounce or Leadpages expecting a forever-free plan, then hitting the 7 to 14 day trial wall.

  • ×

Treating Mailchimp or MailerLite's free landing page as a standalone tool, then losing the page's lead capture once the 250-contact cap is exceeded.

  • ×

Skipping Systeme.io for a multi-step funnel because it looks like a plain landing page tool, missing its free 3-funnel allowance.

Expert Tips

  • →

Start with HubSpot if page volume matters more than branding this week; its free 30-page cap beats every other tool here by a wide margin.

  • →

If a lead capture list matters as much as the page, price Mailchimp or MailerLite's free plan before adding a separate free email tool to Carrd or Framer.

  • →

Read every free plan's domain rule before building: only Systeme.io hands over a custom domain free.

  • →

If the project could grow into a multi-step funnel, start on Systeme.io's free plan rather than migrating later from a single-page tool.

  • →

Budget for the cheapest branding-removal tier, not the flashiest paid tier, if the free page's vendor badge is the actual blocker to launch.

Red Flags to Watch For

  • !

A page marketed as free that is actually a 7 to 14 day trial, like Unbounce, Leadpages, or Landingi, none of which stays free past that window.

  • !

A free plan advertised as unlimited pages that turns out capped hard on bandwidth or contacts the moment a page gets real traffic.

  • !

Vendor branding framed as removable that in fact requires an annual plan, not just any paid tier, as with Tilda's monthly plans.

  • !

A free tier scoped for design exploration, like Framer's, mistaken for a plan ready to carry real campaign traffic.

  • !

A landing page feature bundled so tightly into an email plan that the page becomes unusable the moment the free contact cap is hit.

The Bottom Line

HubSpot is the best free landing page builder in 2026 for one reason competitors do not match: its free Content Hub plan publishes up to 30 real landing pages, more than any other tool on this list gives away for $0.

Mailchimp is the runner-up for anyone who wants a page and an email list under one free account, capped at 250 contacts. Carrd is the fastest single page live today, and Systeme.io is the only free plan here that includes a full 3-funnel setup with a custom domain. Webflow, Framer, Wix, Weebly, and Tilda round out the list with a real free page each, all carrying vendor branding or a subdomain until you pay. None of the category's three paid specialists, Unbounce, Leadpages, and Landingi, offers a plan that stays free past a trial.

How we ranked: 10 free landing page builders scored on what their $0 plan actually publishes, set against the 69 tools in the landing pages category, prices checked on vendor pages in September 2026. Cite this: Toolradar, "Best free landing page builders 2026", September 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best free landing page builder in 2026?

HubSpot is the best free landing page builder in 2026 for most readers: its free Content Hub plan publishes up to 30 landing pages with HubSpot branding, free for up to 2 users, no card required. Mailchimp is the close second for a solo marketer who wants a page bundled with a free 250-contact email plan.

Is there a truly free landing page builder with no trial or expiration?

Yes. All ten builders ranked on this page have a permanent free plan verified on the vendor's own pricing page in September 2026, not a time-limited trial. That excludes Unbounce, Leadpages, and Landingi, whose free offers run 7 to 14 days before converting to a paid plan.

How much do these landing page builders cost once you outgrow the free plan?

Checked on vendor pages in September 2026, entry paid plans start at $7/mo on HubSpot Starter and run up to $17/mo on Systeme.io Startup, with Carrd, Framer, Tilda, MailerLite, Mailchimp, Weebly, and Webflow priced in between (full breakdown in the comparison table above). Wix does not publish its entry paid price in USD on the page checked this month.

Which free landing page builders include a custom domain?

Only Systeme.io includes a custom domain on its free plan, 1 slot alongside 3 funnels and 2,000 contacts. Every other tool on this list, including HubSpot, Mailchimp, Carrd, Webflow, Framer, MailerLite, Wix, Weebly, and Tilda, keeps the free page on the vendor's own subdomain until you upgrade.

HubSpot vs Mailchimp for a free landing page: which should I pick?

Pick HubSpot when page volume matters most: its free plan allows up to 30 landing pages plus a free CRM. Pick Mailchimp when the page exists mainly to grow an email list, since its free plan bundles the page with 250 contacts and 500 sends a month in one dashboard. See HubSpot's alternatives for more free CRM-attached options.

Can I build a full sales funnel for free, not just one landing page?

Yes, Systeme.io is built for exactly that: a free plan with 3 complete sales funnels, unlimited pages inside each funnel, up to 2,000 contacts, and email sending, all under one account with a free custom domain slot. It is the only free plan on this list scoped past a single page.

What is the catch with these free landing page builder plans?

Most catches are branding or a page cap, not a hidden price. HubSpot, Wix, and Tilda keep vendor branding or ads on the free page indefinitely. Webflow and Carrd cap the free plan at 2 to 3 pages or sites. Mailchimp and MailerLite tie the free page to a 250-contact ceiling shared with the rest of the account. Reading the page cap and branding rule before you start avoids the surprise.

Do any free landing page builders remove branding without paying for a custom domain?

Carrd is the clearest example: Pro Lite, its cheapest paid tier, removes on-page branding without requiring a custom domain, which sits behind the separate $19-a-year Pro Standard tier instead. HubSpot removes branding at Starter too, but that tier still does not include a custom domain either.
