Apollo.io combines a B2B contact and company database with enrichment, sequenced outreach and a light CRM layer. Its MCP server opens that account to an agent, so prospect research, list building and pipeline admin happen inside the assistant rather than through the web app. The server exposes people and organization search across the database with filters such as job title, headcount, industry and location, and enrichment of a person or company from an email address or a domain, one at a time or in bulk. Records can be written as well as read: create and update contacts and accounts, add contacts to a sequence or change their sequence status, and manage tasks, notes, labels and opportunities. Logged activity is readable too, including sent emails, calls and completed tasks. It fits sales, recruiting and growth teams, and anyone assembling outbound automation.
