Better Stack MCP

Better Stack MCP gives an agent access to Better Stack, a platform that combines uptime monitoring, log and metric storage, incident response with on-call scheduling, and public status pages. The server exposes the same account data an engineer sees in the web app, scoped to the permissions of the credentials used to connect. Through it, an agent can list monitors and read their availability history, pull open and resolved incidents along with their timelines and acknowledgements, look up who is on call for a given schedule, and query stored logs and metrics through the platform's SQL-style query interface. Because telemetry and incident state sit behind one connection, the agent can move from a symptom, such as a failing check or an alert that fired, to the log lines around it without switching tools. The typical use is production context for a coding agent. When a deploy breaks something, the assistant can read the incident, correlate it with error logs and response times, summarize a likely cause, and prepare the status page update or the post-incident notes. Teams also use it for routine reporting, such as uptime summaries per service or a review of which monitors alert most often.
