Start.gg FAQ
What specific types of data do Tournament Organizers receive about participants through the platform?
Tournament Organizers receive personal data that participants provide, either directly to the organizer or through the Services. This can include registration, contact, and event information such as name, birthdate, country, postal address, email, telephone number, username, gamertag, financial transaction details, and survey responses.
How does the platform handle the personal data of individuals for whom tickets are purchased by another user?
When a user purchases or registers for tickets on behalf of another individual, they may provide that individual's personal data, such as name and email address. The purchasing user represents that they have the authority or appropriate consent to provide this information for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
Are there any specific age restrictions for users outside of North America, and how do they differ from North American users?
For residents outside North America, if a user is under the age of eighteen (18) or the age of majority under applicable local civil law, their parent or legal guardian must read and accept the Terms of Service on their behalf. This differs from North America where individuals aged 13-17 require review by a parent/guardian, who are then jointly and severally liable.

However, users submit this data at their own risk, as the platform cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not view these contributions, and it cannot control the actions of other users with whom the contributions are shared.
