Short answer: BILL Corporate is $89 per user per month when an online store on QuickBooks Online or Xero needs purchase orders and two-way matching, verified September 2026.
Tipalti Accounts Payable starts at $99 a month when factories and creators sit overseas.
Precoro Automation starts at $999 a month, billed annually, when the warehouse receipt has to match the bill.
Ramp Plus is $15 per user per month when ad spend and supplier invoices share one approval chain.
The right plan keeps the supplier bill tied to the purchase order and the warehouse receipt. A cheaper inbox that posts one expense line hides the inventory, and someone has to retype the receipt before stock can move.
Buy the plan that keeps the purchase order on the supplier bill. A cheaper inbox that posts one expense line makes the warehouse retype the receipt before stock can move, and that labor is the cost missing from the pricing page.
BILL Corporate is the default when buyers send purchase orders and the books already sit in QuickBooks Online or Xero. The cheaper plans under it leave those purchase orders out, so the match still happens in a spreadsheet, and a store that never sends a purchase order should buy a sync and a payment rail instead.
A brand that sells on Shopify usually keeps the ledger in QuickBooks Online or Xero. Price that subscription on the vendor's own page, then pick the payables tool that writes the bill back. The ledger choice is QuickBooks vs Xero.
Toolradar data: of the 289 accounting tools we track, 26% have a free or freemium plan, and 205 (71%) publish a paid plan only.
A store where one person approves every supplier bill is a different buy, covered in the accounts payable guide for small business. An online store fails that test when a buyer, a warehouse receipt, and a supplier payment all have to touch the same bill. The ledger around that bill is the ecommerce accounting guide.
How we chose: these 10 were scored against the 289 tools in accounting for purchase-order match, supplier payment rails, and the ledger an online store already runs. Prices were checked on vendor sites in September 2026.

Best for: Online stores on QuickBooks Online or Xero that match bills to purchase orders.
- Pro: Corporate includes purchase requests, purchase orders, tolerance rules, and two-way matching, plus unlimited purchase requesters at no extra seat.
- Pro: On Team, BILL writes bills both ways into Xero and into QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Pro, and QuickBooks Premier, and the Invoice Coding Agent can split a multi-line supplier bill. Team still cannot create purchase orders.
- Pro: Enterprise is custom pricing and adds NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and other ledger sync, plus automatic two-way and three-way matching.
- Con: The Essentials seat is $49 per user per month and moves supplier bills through CSV. Purchase orders on Essentials and on Team are an add-on.
- Con: ACH is $0.59 and a mailed check is $1.99 on a normal domestic month. Same-day ACH is $11.99 and an international USD wire is $19.99. An FX wire is free with an exchange rate, and that is not a local rail.

Best for: Brands paying factories or creators in many countries without a per-user fee.
- Pro: The starting Accounts Payable plan includes unlimited users, a supplier portal, and core automation, and it does not add a fee per user or per approver when a buying team pays factories.
- Pro: The payables product lists NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and SAP, plus invoice capture across 146 languages. Local rails cover 200+ countries.
- Pro: Mass Payments starts at $249 a month for creators, sellers, and other large payee networks, with its own portal. W-9 and W-8 forms are covered, and a tax ID can be checked in 62 countries.
- Con: Tipalti offers no free tier, and each factory payment is priced apart from the platform fee. The per-payment schedule is not published.
- Con: Procurement, expenses, and treasury are extra modules. The page lists two-way and three-way matching without a tier grid. The starting plan can still leave the warehouse receipt elsewhere.
The lack of transparent pricing for Starter, Premium, and Elite tiers suggests it's likely on the more expensive side, targeting businesses with significant AP volume.

Best for: Brands that buy inventory against purchase orders and need a three-way match.
- Pro: Core starts at $499 a month billed annually and includes purchase requests, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, payments, and two-way and three-way match. QuickBooks Online and Xero are on that plan.
- Pro: Automation is the higher published plan, billed annually, and it adds inventory, intelligent accounts payable, e-invoicing, a supplier portal, and API access. Buy it when stock has to live on the bill.
- Pro: A standalone AP module is $499 a month billed annually for invoices, approvals, and payments without the full purchasing suite. Enterprise is custom and states unlimited users and ERP integrations.
- Con: Both published plans say starts at, so the order can clear the sticker, and Core does not include inventory. A brand that buys Core for stock counts still needs another system for the units.
- Con: There is no free plan. Standard onboarding is two consultation sessions and a one-hour training, and concierge setup is a paid add-on with up to ten consultations. Multiple companies are a separate add-on with no published price.
Precoro's pricing is on the higher side for small to medium businesses, with the 'Core' plan at $499/month offering essential procurement.

Best for: Stores that pay ads on a card and suppliers from the same system.
- Pro: Ramp's no-cost plan reads the supplier invoice, applies approval rules, and can pay by ACH, by check, by card, or by wire, posting into QuickBooks Online or Xero. Bill pay can run without the corporate card.
- Pro: Plus is 20% cheaper when billed annually, and it adds NetSuite, Sage Intacct, line-item auto-coding, and batch payments. Purchase-order import starts on Plus, with up to 10 purchase orders on one NetSuite bill.
- Pro: Standard ACH, standard checks, same-day ACH, domestic wires, and SWIFT transfers are waived when you pay from a Ramp Checking Account. Ramp charges $0.65 per IRS filing for a 1099-NEC or a 1099-MISC, and state filing stays free.
- Con: From an external bank, standard ACH is $0.59 and a standard check is $1.99. Same-day ACH is $10 and a SWIFT USD wire is $20, and a domestic wire is charged as well. Overnight check delivery is not waived.
- Con: Plus adds a platform fee that follows team size, and Ramp publishes no dollar amount. A 30-day Plus trial does not show that fee, and the Ramp card still needs credit approval.
Ramp's pricing is highly generous, especially with its robust Free tier that offers features often found in paid plans from competitors.

Best for: Smaller stores paying many domestic suppliers beside QuickBooks or Xero.
- Pro: Unlimited is $80 a month or $64 billed annually, with unlimited ACH and unlimited users. Choose it once a normal month would burn a free ACH allotment and a stack of extra seats.
- Pro: Core is $25 a month or $20 billed annually and adds unlimited QuickBooks Online and Xero sync, batch payments, custom approval workflows, W-9 collection, and 1099 filing. It includes 20 free ACH payments a month. It is too small for weekly factory payments.
- Pro: Boost is $55 a month or $44 billed annually, with 50 free ACH payments, and Melio describes class and location tracking on that plan. A sales channel can sit on the bill without a new ledger.
- Con: Past the free ACH set, each ACH is $0.50, and a card payment is 2.9%. A global ACH in USD is a $20 flat fee, and paying in local currency is 1% with a $30 minimum and a $95 cap. Extra monthly users on Core and Boost are $10, and Core's annual extra user is $8.
- Con: Melio's paid plans cost nothing for 90 days, and a store that does not subscribe drops back to Go. Melio deletes premium-feature data. A sales-channel class from the trial has to be recoded. Go includes only 5 free ACH payments and up to 10 ledger syncs.
Melio's pricing is fair, offering a generous free tier for small businesses with limited ACH needs.

Best for: Brands that have outgrown a single-company ledger and need one system.
- Pro: Oracle describes the license as three components, a core platform, optional modules, and users, billed annually, plus a one-time implementation fee. New modules can be turned on as the brand grows.
- Pro: The ERP page lists automated accounts payable, procurement through procure-to-pay, and inventory across multiple locations, including reorder points and replenishment. The receipt and the bill can share a system.
- Pro: OneWorld is the global layer: multiple subsidiaries, multiple currencies, and consolidated reporting. A brand with a US store and an overseas entity is the buyer.
- Con: Oracle publishes no dollar figure for the annual license or the implementation fee, so you cannot rank NetSuite against a seat plan until the quote splits platform, modules, and users.
- Con: A store that only needs to pay domestic suppliers is buying warehouse and order modules to get an inbox.
NetSuite does not publish plan prices: pricing is quoted per customer after a sales conversation, so no list price is shown here.

Best for: Brands whose ledger is already live and whose gap is invoice matching.
- Pro: Invoice capture, a customer success manager, onboarding, and team training sit on the accounts payable product. Stampli says deployment is measured in weeks, so the quote includes an implementation.
- Pro: The included match is semi-automated, both two-way and three-way, and full automation is a separate Cognitive AI offer.
- Pro: Stampli can pay a factory by domestic check, domestic ACH, global ACH, wire, or virtual card. The card is marked free for Stampli customers.
- Con: Stampli has no public price, so a per-seat ranking has to wait until the quote lists supplier payments and setup.
- Con: Procurement, Direct Pay, and advanced vendor management sit apart from core accounts payable. Confirm which of those rows the quote includes.
It's best for large organizations with complex procure-to-pay needs that require extensive customization and dedicated support.

Best for: Brands inside two entities that want bill pay without a software fee.
- Pro: Essentials charges no per-user fee and lists bill pay, automatic invoice entry, and multi-level approvals, capped at two entities, one of them global. Accounting integrations, including NetSuite, are on that plan.
- Pro: The bill pay product can create purchase orders and two-way match an incoming bill to a PO. Batches can be grouped by due date, entity, or currency inside that entity cap.
- Pro: Premium is $12 per user per month and is the step for multiple US and international entities. Local-currency cards in 50+ countries are an Enterprise or Smart Card conversation.
- Con: Essentials stops at two entities. A third company, or a second overseas company, is Premium or a custom Enterprise plan.
- Con: Brex two-way matches a bill to a purchase order and does not describe a goods-receipt match. The warehouse receipt can still live elsewhere. Brex also publishes no payment fees next to the seat.
Brex's pricing is quite generous for startups and growing companies with its free Essentials tier, offering robust features without a per-user fee.

Best for: Brands with a long supplier list that do not want a fee per approver.
- Pro: Buyers can approve without a new seat line because the plans include unlimited user seats. Domestic, international, and instant payments are on the Core feature list. The cost per factory payment stays on the quote.
- Pro: Form 1099 and 1042-S filing are listed, along with domestic and international vendor tax forms. A brand paying suppliers and overseas payees can file without a per-seat tool.
- Pro: Invoice automation, on the higher tiers, adds trainable OCR, purchase-order matching, and predictive coding. The quote has to name that tier, because Core does not list the match.
- Con: Routable has no public price, and a tier includes suppliers only up to 1,000 or 3,000. A long factory list can change the quote even though seats are unlimited.
- Con: Routable publishes no per-payment schedule. International payments on Core are not a known cost per factory until the paper arrives.
While it offers unlimited users, the cost per vendor can quickly become expensive for businesses with many suppliers.

Best for: Stores that want the ledger to pay bills and do not need a second AP seat.
- Pro: Established is $90 a month and adds multiple currencies plus international bill payments. A buyer can open a supplier bill without another seat because there is no per-user license fee.
- Pro: Early, Growing, and Established all include domestic ACH. Growing is $55 a month and adds automated bill entry.
- Pro: Every Xero plan includes W-9 and 1099 management. Inventory Plus is an optional add-on on Growing and Established, and Xero publishes no price for it.
- Con: Early is $25 a month and allows 5 bills. A store that starts there for the included ACH hits that cap in a week of freight and packaging. It still lacks multi-currency.
- Con: Subscription rates at Xero go up on October 1, 2026, and the replacement figures are not on the page. The 90% introductory discount ends September 30, 2026. Cross-border and international payment fees are extra, and Xero publishes no dollar amount for them.

What accounts payable software does for an online store
Accounts payable software for an online store captures a supplier bill, matches it to the purchase order and the goods receipt, and pays the supplier without dropping the inventory line.
The receipt is the ecommerce problem, more than the scan. A factory invoice, a freight bill, and a packaging invoice each have to land on the right account, because inventory, inbound freight, and operating expense are different lines, and a tool that collapses them hides margin.
Precoro and BILL both sell a match, on different tiers.
Payment is a separate meter from the monthly subscription. ACH, a check, a card, and a wire each add a fee, so a low subscription with a charge per supplier payment can pass a seat price once the brand pays dozens of factories a month.
Overseas payouts are a second product. A domestic ACH tool can send one international wire and still be the wrong stack for factories in several countries. Tipalti prices that roster as a platform fee plus transactions, which suits a long overseas list and is a heavy buy for one wire.
Card spend sits beside the bill, and it is not the same workflow. Ad platforms, software, and some freight are card charges, while supplier invoices are bills. Ramp and Brex try to hold both, and the card program is compared in Ramp vs Brex.
Xero and NetSuite can hold the ledger and the supplier bills in one subscription, which saves a second seat when the purchase order already lives in the books. Stampli and Routable sit beside a ledger the brand already runs, for brands whose books are fine and whose gap is the bill.
Why the receipt decides the tier
The demo usually shows a clean match on a plan the store will not buy. Essentials is the CSV seat, and purchase orders stay an add-on through Team, so the warehouse match stays in a spreadsheet. Team writes bills both ways with QuickBooks Online and with Xero, and it adds the Invoice Coding Agent, which helps when a freight or packaging bill does not need a purchase order.
Corporate is the first BILL plan with purchase requests, purchase orders, tolerance rules, and two-way matching. It discounts approver-only users, and BILL does not publish that discount as a dollar amount. On Essentials and Team every login is a full seat, so four buyers are four full seats, and Corporate can cost less once the discount is on the order.
Enterprise is custom, syncs NetSuite, and lists automatic two-way and three-way matching. The quote has to name the ledger, because the match varies by accounting software.
Tipalti Accounts Payable is a platform fee with unlimited users. Mass Payments is a separate line for creators, sellers, and other large payee networks, and a factory plan does not include that roster.
The product lists two-way and three-way matching, invoice capture across 146 languages, and local rails in 200+ countries, without saying which tier includes the match. Precoro Core already includes purchase requests, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and two-way and three-way match, with QuickBooks Online and Xero. Inventory, intelligent accounts payable, and e-invoicing start on Automation. Buying Core to save the sticker leaves stock counts in another system.
Ramp's free plan reads supplier invoices, sends them through an approval route, and can pay by ACH, by check, by card, or by wire, into QuickBooks Online or Xero. Purchase-order import starts on Plus, including up to 10 purchase orders on one bill when the ledger is NetSuite. Plus also adds a platform fee Ramp does not publish.
Go, Melio's free plan, covers 5 ACH payments a month and caps QuickBooks or Xero syncs at 10, which is short of a normal month of supplier bills. Approval workflows, batch pay, and unlimited sync start on Core, and class and location tracking for a sales channel is described on Boost. Unlimited adds unlimited ACH and unlimited users.
Domestic ACH is on Xero Early, Growing, and Established, and Early's bill cap is too low once packaging and freight arrive. Multi-currency and international bill pay start on Established. NetSuite publishes no list price: the license is an annual fee of core platform, optional modules, and users, plus a one-time implementation fee.
Key Features to Look For
A purchase order and a receipt on the bill (Essential)
BILL includes purchase orders and two-way matching on Corporate, and lists two-way and three-way matching on Enterprise. Precoro Core includes two-way and three-way match. A bill with no receipt cannot update inventory.
Two-way sync on the tier you will sign (Essential)
Team is the first BILL tier that syncs supplier bills both ways with QuickBooks Online and with Xero. Essentials is CSV import and export. The cheap seat still needs a person to post the warehouse receipt. NetSuite sync is Enterprise at BILL, while Brex lists NetSuite on Essentials and Ramp holds it for Plus.
A payment fee next to the subscription (Essential)
Each BILL ACH and each mailed check is billed in addition to the user seat. Melio covers a set number of ACH payments each month, then charges for every supplier payment past that set. Ramp waives several fees only when you pay from a Ramp Checking Account. A store on its own bank should price that fee.
A rail for overseas factories (Essential)
Tipalti pays in 200+ countries on local rails and does not charge per user. A factory list fits. One wire does not. Melio prices a global ACH in USD as a flat fee and local currency as a percentage with a floor and a cap.
Inventory or channel on the line (Important)
Precoro puts inventory on Automation. A Core buyer still needs a stock system. Xero lists Inventory Plus as an optional add-on on Growing and Established and publishes no price for it. Melio describes class and location tracking on Boost. That is how a sales channel lands on the bill.
A bill cap and a vendor cap (Important)
Xero Early's bill cap falls in a week of freight and packaging. Routable shows included supplier caps of 1,000 and 3,000 by tier even though seats are unlimited.
Approvers who are not full seats (Important)
Tipalti and Routable do not charge per user, and BILL discounts approver-only users on Corporate. Melio Unlimited removes the extra-user charge that Core and Boost add.
Ad spend kept off the supplier bill (Nice to have)
Ramp and Brex can put ad platforms on a card and supplier invoices in bill pay. Forcing every Meta invoice through the same purchase-order match as a factory shipment uses the wrong control for a card charge.
What to decide before the demo
-
Decide whether a purchase order exists. If buyers send one, price BILL Corporate, Precoro Core, or a quote that includes matching. If they do not, a sync-and-pay plan is the purchase.
-
Separate the subscription from the supplier payment. Write down a normal month of ACH, checks, card-funded bills, and overseas factory wires, then set that next to the seat or platform fee.
-
Count factories and creators separately from domestic suppliers. Tipalti Mass Payments is the creator and seller line, and the factory plan does not include it. A handful of USD wires is a different buy from a weekly overseas roster.
Evaluation Checklist
On BILL, create one real supplier bill on Team and again on Corporate, and keep the purchase-order fields the lower plan leaves for a human.
On Tipalti, ask for transaction fees and whether two-way and three-way match sit inside the starting Accounts Payable plan.
On Precoro, receive one stock item on Core and again on Automation, and see which plan actually holds inventory.
On Ramp, pay one bill from an external bank and one from a Ramp Checking Account, and confirm purchase-order import is on the Plus plan you were quoted.
On Melio, confirm class or location survives on the plan you keep after 90 days when a sales channel has to sit on the supplier bill.
On Xero, count one busy week of supplier, freight, and packaging bills against Early's cap of 5.
On Brex, confirm the Bills tab is on the account and that two-way purchase-order match is the control you need. The product page does not describe a receipt match.
On NetSuite, require the quote to split core platform, modules, users, and the one-time implementation fee.

Essentials $49; Team $65; Corporate $89 | Corporate adds purchase orders and two-way match. ACH is $0.59, and checks are $1.99. | Per user, per month
Tipalti | AP from $99/mo; mass pay from $249 | Unlimited users. Transaction fees sit on top, and there is no free plan. | Platform fee plus transactions |
Precoro | Core from $499; Automation from $999 | Core includes 2-way and 3-way match. Inventory starts on Automation. Both are billed annually. | Annual, stated per month |
Ramp | Free software; Plus $15/user/mo | Monthly, or 20% off Plus yearly
Melio | Go free; Unlimited $80/mo or $64 annual | Unlimited ACH and users. After the free ACH allotment, each ACH is $0.50. | Monthly, or annual |
NetSuite | No list price | Annual license of core platform, modules, and users, plus a one-time implementation fee. | Annual quote |
Stampli | No list price | Semi-automated 2-way and 3-way match included. Full automation is a separate Cognitive AI offer. | Quote |
Brex | Essentials no per-user fee; Premium $12 | Essentials includes bill pay and stops at two entities. Two-way PO match is on the product. | Per user, per month |
Routable | No list price | Unlimited seats. Vendor caps of 1,000 and 3,000 are listed by tier. PO match is not on Core. | Quote |
Xero | Early $25; Growing $55; Established $90 | Early allows 5 bills. Established adds multi-currency and international bill pay. | Per organization, per month |
These prices were taken from vendor sites on September 23, 2026. Xero lifts subscription prices on October 1, 2026 and has not posted the replacement rates. Through September 30, 2026, a new US organization can take 90% off for the first 6 months, which puts Established at $9, Growing at $5.50, and Early at $2.50.
Five BILL Corporate seats come to $445 a month before ACH. If the leak is ad spend on cards, see spend management platforms. When the supplier bill starts as a purchase order, see procurement software. Stock counts sit with inventory management, and the ledger graduation sits with ERP software.
Mistakes to Avoid
- ×
Signing BILL Essentials at $49, or Team, because the seat is lower. Purchase orders are an add-on until Corporate, so the warehouse receipt is typed into the ledger again.
- ×
Counting only the finance hire as a BILL user. Buyers who approve are full seats on Team. Five Corporate seats are $445 a month before the ACH fee, and the approver-only discount is unpublished.
- ×
Buying Precoro Core to track stock. The match is on Core, and inventory is on Automation, so the units stay in a spreadsheet you thought you had replaced.
- ×
Treating Ramp's free bill pay as free ACH from the bank you already use. The external-bank ACH fee applies until the payment comes from a Ramp Checking Account.
- ×
Starting Xero on Early to get included ACH, then hitting the bill cap. Growing is the bill-volume step, and Established is the multi-currency step.
- ×
Letting a Melio trial end on Go. Premium data is deleted, including a class you used for a sales channel, and Go's 5 ACH payments is a short supplier list.
- ×
Pricing Tipalti from the platform fee alone, as if a per-seat invoice and a factory payment schedule were the same number. Mass Payments is a separate product if creators are the payee list.
Expert Tips
- →
Put the inventory line on the bill before approval, not after the payment. Precoro Automation can hold the stock item.
- →
If four extra people need Melio on the monthly Core or Boost plan, the extra-user charge adds up fast. Set that stack next to Unlimited, which includes unlimited users and unlimited ACH.
- →
Ask BILL whether Corporate's approver-only discount beats full Team seats Put that approver discount in dollars on the order before you treat Corporate as the costlier seat for buyers.
- →
For a NetSuite brand, read the integration line before you order cards. Brex lists NetSuite on Essentials, and Ramp holds NetSuite for Plus. See Ramp vs Brex.
- →
For one overseas factory, price a single Melio global ACH before you buy a platform. For a weekly roster across countries, price Tipalti.
- →
Open the Xero note about the October 1, 2026 increase before a 2027 budget treats today's Established rate as permanent. The replacement rate is not on the page.
Red Flags to Watch For
-
A BILL quote that puts buyers on Essentials or Team because the seat is cheaper. Purchase orders are an add-on there.
-
A Precoro Core order sold as the inventory system. Inventory is on Automation.
-
A Tipalti proposal that quotes only the platform fee, or that treats three-way match as included because the marketing page lists it.
-
A Ramp Plus order that will not put the platform fee in dollars.
-
A Xero Early subscription for a store that receives weekly supplier bills. The bill cap is too low, and multi-currency is not on that plan.
-
A NetSuite quote with no module list. You are buying an ERP license.
-
A Stampli quote that does not say whether Cognitive AI and Direct Pay are inside the price. Semi-automated matching is the included row.
-
A Routable quote with no per-payment schedule and no named vendor cap.
The Bottom Line
BILL Corporate is the ecommerce default when buyers send purchase orders and the books stay in QuickBooks Online or Xero. Essentials and Team hand the warehouse receipt back to a person.
Tipalti is the pick when factories or creators are the payee list, once the transaction schedule sits next to the platform fee.
Precoro Automation is the pick when inventory has to live in the same system as the match. Core matches the bill and does not hold the units,
Ramp belongs when ads and supplier invoices share one system, once you know whether payments come from Ramp Checking.
Melio Unlimited is the smaller-store path when ACH volume, not a purchase order, is the meter.
Xero Established is the ledger with domestic ACH, multi-currency, and no per-user fee, and Early's bill cap fails a week of packaging and freight.
Brex is the free seat while the brand stays inside its entity cap. It shows a two-way purchase-order match and no receipt match.
NetSuite is the graduation when inventory, purchasing, and bills are one license. Stampli and Routable stay quotes until the paper names payments and caps.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best accounts payable software for ecommerce in 2026?
BILL Corporate, at $89 per user per month, is the best fit for most online stores whose buyers send purchase orders and whose books are QuickBooks Online or Xero. Tipalti Accounts Payable, from $99 a month, fits a brand paying factories or creators overseas. Precoro Automation, from $999 a month billed annually, fits a brand that needs inventory and a three-way match in one system. Ramp Plus, at $15 per user per month, fits a brand that wants ad cards and supplier invoices together, with prices checked on vendor pages in September 2026.
How much does accounts payable software for an online store cost?
In September 2026 the published range runs from a free Melio Go or Ramp plan up to Precoro Automation, billed annually. The store-shaped totals are BILL Corporate, Tipalti at its platform fee plus transaction fees, Melio Unlimited at $80 a month, and Xero Established. Five Corporate seats are $445 a month before BILL's ACH fee. NetSuite, Stampli, and Routable publish no list price.
Is there a free accounts payable tool for an online store?
Melio Go has no subscription. It includes 5 ACH payments a month, then $0.50 each, which covers a short supplier list and not a factory roster. Ramp's free plan reads bills, runs an approval route, and pays them into QuickBooks Online or Xero, and several payment fees drop only when the money leaves a Ramp Checking Account. Brex Essentials has no per-user fee and lists bill pay, with a cap of two entities. None of those free plans is the purchase-order tier once buyers send factory orders.
BILL or Tipalti for an ecommerce brand?
Choose BILL Corporate when the books are QuickBooks Online or Xero and the bill has to match a purchase order, at a per-user price plus ACH. Choose Tipalti when the payee list is factories or creators across countries and you would rather pay a platform fee than a seat per buyer. That plan includes unlimited users, and transaction fees are extra. Mass Payments is the separate line for creators and sellers. BILL's international USD wire is a per-payment charge, not a local-rail payout stack.
When should an online store move payables into NetSuite?
Move when inventory locations, purchasing, and the supplier bill have to live in one system. Oracle prices NetSuite as an annual license of core platform, optional modules, and users, plus a one-time implementation fee, and it publishes no dollar figure. OneWorld is the layer for multiple subsidiaries and currencies. The broader choice is in the ecommerce accounting guide.
Can Xero replace a separate accounts payable tool?
It can, on the plan that matches the bill volume. Domestic ACH starts on Early, automated bill entry starts on Growing at $55 a month, and both multi-currency and international bill pay start on Established at $90 a month. Early's cap of 5 bills rules it out for a working store that already receives freight and packaging. Xero charges no per-user fee. Rates go up on October 1, 2026, and the new figures are not published.
What should a brand use to pay overseas factories?
Tipalti Accounts Payable charges a platform fee, includes unlimited users, and pays on local rails in 200+ countries, with transaction fees extra. Mass Payments starts at $249 a month when creators or sellers are the payee network. For a few overseas factories, Melio can send a global ACH in USD for a $20 flat fee, or local currency at 1% with a $30 minimum and a $95 cap. Xero international bill pay starts on Established, and Xero publishes no dollar amount for those fees.
