Is Indeed worth the price?

78/100

Indeed does not sell a $99/month seat.

Official employer docs (updated August 19, 2026) say you can post up to 3 free jobs per calendar month, each live 30 days, in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and Netherlands. Sponsored Jobs are a budget you set.

You pay when someone clicks or starts an apply. Indeed invoices on the 1st of the month or when spend hits $500, whichever comes first.

First-time sponsors can get a $25 validation invoice. New US accounts that post a job get a $75 Sponsored Job credit that dies after one year.

This is best for an employer who will actually watch the budget, not a recruiter hunting a fake flat fee.

Hidden Costs & Gotchas

Invoice fires on day 1 of the month or at $500 spend. First sponsor can also get a $25 validation charge.

Downgrade from Sponsored to Free can still bill leftover clicks. Indeed says it will not exceed your max budget.

$75 credit is new US accounts only, expires in one year, then the budget bills as usual.

Staffing agencies, ATS feeds, confidential names, and relocation jobs can be forced to sponsor. Free is not a right.

Some countries get 120-day free visibility (PH, MY, IN, JP, and others on the official list). US/UK/CA/DE/NL stay at 30 days.
