What is InvoiceParser Pro?

InvoiceParser Pro is accounts payable software for freight and logistics operators and the AP teams, bookkeepers and accounting firms who keep their books. Upload supplier and carrier invoices as PDFs, scans or phone photos, or forward them by email: each client gets its own inbox address. IPP reads every line (description, quantity, unit price, discount, tax and line total), not just the header totals, then checks the arithmetic: the lines against the subtotal, VAT against its printed rate, and subtotal, charges and tax against the total. A mismatch is flagged with the size of the gap. Possible duplicates are flagged against the past year, every field is graded High, Medium or Low confidence, and supplier statements are recognised and held so a statement balance is never paid as a bill. Nothing is pushed until a person approves it. Approval workflows, eight roles and per-person approval limits come first; approved bills then go to QuickBooks Online, Xero or Zoho Books, or to Excel/CSV on every plan. For freight, any invoice or single line can be tagged to your own trip or load, each invoice keeps the currency it was issued in, and Namibian, South African and Zambian invoices are read, including dual-currency layouts. IPP publishes its own accuracy benchmark, with the method and the misses, at invoiceparserpro.com/accuracy.

InvoiceParser Pro FAQ

Is InvoiceParser Pro free?

Yes, there is a permanent Free plan with 25 invoices a month and no card. Paid plans are fixed monthly prices: Starter $79 (200 invoices), Team $249 (1,000) and Scale $599 (5,000), 20% less billed annually. Every workspace starts with a 14-day trial of 50 invoices. There is also a free invoice-to-Excel tool on the website.

Who is InvoiceParser Pro best for?

AP teams, bookkeepers and accounting firms processing supplier invoices into QuickBooks Online, Xero or Zoho Books, and above all freight and logistics operators: carrier, fuel, port and clearing-agent invoices, multi-currency and southern African (Namibia, South Africa, Zambia) paperwork.

What are the best InvoiceParser Pro alternatives?

Dext and AutoEntry for receipt and expense capture with bank feeds; Hubdoc if you are on Xero; Nanonets or Rossum for enterprise document automation; Docparser for rule-based parsing. InvoiceParser Pro fits teams that want every line item, an arithmetic check and approval before anything reaches the books.

How accurate is InvoiceParser Pro?

In IPP’s own published benchmark (181 synthetic invoices, photos, scans and handwritten documents run through live production on 3 October 2026), 96.1% of documents had every key header field right, 98.7% of key header fields were right, line items scored a mean F1 of 0.983, and all 5 invoices whose printed figures did not add up were flagged. The method and the misses are published at invoiceparserpro.com/accuracy.

Which accounting systems does InvoiceParser Pro work with?

Approved bills push to QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books over OAuth on paid plans and during the trial; Excel and CSV export work on every plan. QuickBooks Online bills can carry VAT on your own QuickBooks tax codes; the Xero and Zoho Books pushes do not set tax codes yet. There is no Sage, MYOB or QuickBooks Desktop connection.

Is InvoiceParser Pro priced per user or per document?

Neither. Each plan is a flat monthly price for the whole organisation with an invoice allowance: Starter $79 (200 invoices, 3 users), Team $249 (1,000, unlimited users), Scale $599 (5,000, unlimited users). On paid plans a busy month can continue for up to 1,000 extra invoices at $0.10 each.

How is InvoiceParser Pro different from Dext?

Dext is built for bookkeepers capturing receipts, bills and statements for many clients, with mobile capture, bank feeds and per-client pricing for accountants. InvoiceParser Pro is built for supplier invoices: every line read on every plan, the arithmetic checked, duplicates flagged and an approval before anything reaches QuickBooks Online, Xero or Zoho Books, plus trip and load costing for freight operators.
