Is Visio worth the price?
Visio Plan 1 is $5/user/month paid yearly.
Plan 2 is $15/user/month paid yearly. A lighter Visio web app is already inside Microsoft 365 commercial plans at $0 extra.
First-time work/school accounts get a 30-day trial of Plan 1 or Plan 2, then it converts to paid unless you cancel. This is best for teams already on Microsoft 365 who only need the extra desktop or shape library.
Hidden Costs & Gotchas
Plan 1 and Plan 2 prices on the official compare page are yearly ($5 and $15 per user per month). Trial converts to paid after 30 days if you do not cancel; a card is required.
Each plan includes 2 GB OneDrive for work or school only if you do not already have OneDrive. It does not add 2 GB on top of an existing work OneDrive.
Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com) cannot use Visio for the web.
After a paid term starts there is a 7-day prorated cancel window. Cancel later in admin center; data is deleted when the subscription ends.
