What is Brevo MCP?

Editorial review
Brevo MCP is a Model Context Protocol server for Brevo, the marketing and transactional messaging platform formerly known as Sendinblue. It exposes the Brevo API to an agent so contact data, campaigns, and message sending can be driven from a chat client or a coding assistant rather than the Brevo dashboard. The scope covers both halves of the product that most accounts use: the marketing side, where contacts sit in lists and receive campaigns, and the transactional side, where an application sends receipts, password resets, and notifications one message at a time. On the contact side an agent can look up a contact, create or update one, set custom attributes, move contacts between lists, and pull the list inventory itself. On the campaign side it can draft an email or SMS campaign with a sender, subject, and body, update a draft, schedule it, and read back aggregated reporting once it has gone out. Transactional sending is a separate path that takes a recipient plus a template or inline content and returns a message identifier that can be traced through delivery and engagement events. It is a fit for small teams and solo operators who keep their list in Brevo and want an assistant handling the repetitive parts, such as tidying attributes, segmenting before a send, or pulling numbers from a previous campaign. Treat write access carefully, since a campaign send and a contact deletion are both one tool call away.

Is Brevo MCP worth the price?

Good value

Brevo MCP's pricing is fair for small to mid-sized teams but expensive for high-volume senders due to hidden overage costs.

Best for solopreneurs and SMBs needing an all-in-one marketing and CRM platform.

Hidden Costs & Gotchas

Overage fees for emails beyond plan limits

SMS credits purchased separately, not included

Advanced ecommerce features require paid add-ons

Enterprise requires custom contract and minimums
