What is Statable Analytics?

Editorial review
Statable is privacy-first, cookieless web analytics built and hosted in the European Union. It reports pageviews, traffic sources, campaigns, goals, funnels, scroll depth, custom events and live visitors without setting cookies or storing persistent identifiers, so no consent banner is required to gate it and every visitor is counted rather than only those who click Accept. Visitor counting uses a server-side hash keyed with a private secret and rotated every midnight UTC, which makes the same visitor unlinkable across days by construction. IP addresses are read once at ingest to derive approximate location and are never written to storage. Query strings are stripped before the event row is saved. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honoured inside the tracking script itself, so nothing is sent at all when a visitor signals either. Pricing offers paid tiers starting at $9 per month for 10,000 monthly pageviews, and the allowance is pooled across an unlimited number of websites rather than capped per site, so one plan covers every project an agency or team runs. Every paid plan carries the same feature set; the tier decides volume only. A 30-day trial requires no credit card, and analytics are permanently free, with no pageview cap, for sites on .edu, .github.io and .gitlab.io domains. Historical data can be imported from Google Analytics 4 and merged into the same timeline. Google Search Console integration brings search queries, impressions and positions into the same dashboard. A read-only Stats API and an official MCP server with twelve tools let analytics be queried from advanced models or any MCP client in natural language. The tracking script is modular: twelve optional features, 1,280 valid build combinations, from 504 bytes for the core to 1,855 bytes with everything enabled, compressed. Statable is operated by Key Arg B.V., registered in the Netherlands.

Statable Analytics FAQ

How does Statable Analytics handle visitor privacy without a consent banner?

Statable Analytics does not set cookies or store persistent identifiers, so no consent banner is required to use it. It uses a server-side hash keyed with a private secret that rotates daily, making the same visitor unlinkable across days, and IP addresses are read once for location and never stored. The tracking script also honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals, sending no data when either is active.

Which teams benefit most from using Statable Analytics?

Teams that manage multiple websites, such as agencies or organizations with many projects, benefit most because every paid plan covers an unlimited number of websites with a pooled pageview allowance. It is also ideal for teams that need privacy-compliant analytics without a consent banner, as every visitor is counted rather than only those who accept cookies.

How does Statable Analytics compare to Fathom Analytics?

Both Statable Analytics and Fathom Analytics are privacy-first, cookieless web analytics tools, but Statable offers unlimited websites on every paid plan, whereas Fathom typically caps websites per plan. Statable also provides a free tier for .edu, .github.io, and .gitlab.io domains with no pageview cap, and its tracking script honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track directly.

Can Statable Analytics import historical data from other analytics tools?

Yes, Statable Analytics can import historical data from Google Analytics 4 and merge it into the same timeline. It also integrates Google Search Console to bring search queries, impressions, and positions into the same dashboard.

How is Statable Analytics priced?

Statable Analytics offers a free tier with no pageview cap for sites on .edu, .github.io, and .gitlab.io domains. Paid plans start at a monthly fee for 10,000 pageviews, with the allowance pooled across unlimited websites, and every paid plan includes the same full feature set with only the volume tier differing.

What are the main limitations of Statable Analytics?

Statable Analytics is cloud-only with no self-hosting option, and it does not include session replay, heatmaps, or revenue attribution features. Its default tracking script is larger than some lighter competitors, and it has few public reviews so far.

Does Statable Analytics offer an API or integration with AI tools?

Yes, Statable Analytics provides a read-only Stats API and an official MCP server with twelve tools, allowing analytics to be queried from advanced models or any MCP client in natural language. This enables flexible data access beyond the dashboard.

Can Statable Analytics track custom events and goals?

Yes, Statable Analytics supports tracking custom events, goals, funnels, scroll depth, and live visitors without setting cookies. Its tracking script is modular with twelve optional features, offering over 1,280 build combinations ranging from 504 bytes to 1,855 bytes compressed.
