Is UserNote worth the price?

Good value

At $19/month for unlimited boards, ideas, and voters plus white-labeling, this is a generous price for small SaaS teams that need a feature voting board without per-seat or per-board creep.

It is cheaper than most dedicated feedback tools like Canny or Featurebase, which often charge more for white-label at similar scales. Best for bootstrapped startups that want a simple, all-in-one feedback and roadmap tool.

UserNote FAQ

Why don’t end-users need to log in to vote?

Mandatory login forms kill customer engagement. Instead, UserNote stops double-voting with a random token stored in the browser and a salted, one-way hash of the IP address. No cookies, and we never store the IP address itself.

What happens when a free board reaches 50 ideas?

The limit is 50 ideas on the board at any one time, including ones waiting for your approval. When it’s reached, visitors can still browse and vote, but new suggestions pause until you delete some ideas (each deletion frees a slot) or upgrade to Pro for unlimited ideas.

Can I use this with any tech stack?

Yes. It’s one standard script tag, so it works with React, Next.js, Vue, WordPress, Webflow or plain HTML. The install guide has notes for each, plus the Content Security Policy lines for stricter sites.

Can I see who suggested or voted for an idea?

No. Voting is anonymous, which is why so many more people take part. You get an email for every new suggestion, and people can add details if they choose. If you need to know what particular customers want, ask them directly as well; the board shows you what everyone else wants.

Does it integrate with Jira, Linear or Slack?

Pro sends new ideas to a Slack channel. There’s no Jira or Linear integration yet, and you can export any board to CSV at any time. If you need deep integrations with your issue tracker or CRM, a larger tool such as Canny may suit you better.
