Workplace from Meta was a collaboration platform designed for businesses, leveraging Meta's infrastructure for communication and internal networking. It aimed to provide a secure environment for teams to connect, share information, and manage projects, benefiting from Meta's world-class security and features. The platform offered tools for communication, content sharing, and data management, with a strong emphasis on data privacy and security. As of September 1, 2025, Workplace has entered a read-only mode, meaning no new content can be created. Users can still sign in, view, and export their data. The service will be fully deleted on May 31, 2026. Existing instances are free to use during this read-only period, and users are advised to export all necessary data before the deletion date. Meta has partnered with Workvivo by Zoom as a preferred partner for data export and continued service.
