Crisp MCP

Crisp is a customer messaging platform that combines a website chat widget, a shared inbox for support operators, contact profiles, and a helpdesk knowledge base. A Crisp MCP server exposes that inbox over the Model Context Protocol so an assistant can read a support conversation in full, understand who is on the other end, and act on the thread rather than only summarizing a pasted transcript. The core capabilities are conversation-oriented. An agent can list and search conversations with filters, retrieve a single thread with its message history, and send either a customer-facing reply or an internal note that stays hidden from the visitor. Conversation state can be moved between the values a team uses, such as pending or resolved, and a thread can be assigned to a specific operator. Contact profiles are reachable alongside the thread, including the custom data a team stores on a person and that person's earlier conversations, which is what lets an agent answer with account context instead of guessing. Servers in this space authenticate through a Crisp plugin scoped to one website. It is aimed at support teams that want triage, drafting, and summarization handled by an agent while a human keeps the send decision, and at operations people building automations over an inbox: routing by topic, flagging threads that have gone unanswered, or pulling recurring issues out of a week of conversations.
